As for the food… a delight for the taste buds.

20/02/2026: Everything is perfect!!! The welcome is always very warm, the team is great, and the food is top-notch.
20/02/2026: We were cycling through the beautiful Pévèle countryside on a lovely summer Sunday when we happened to pass by the restaurant "Le Pavé Gourmand." The parking lot was full, and we were immediately struck by the place. We approached, and through the window, we could see a packed dining room.
A few days later, we made a reservation, and finally, we were seated.
The atmosphere was very warm, and we were instantly enveloped by the pleasant ambiance.
The staff was very friendly, and we placed our order.
A few moments later, we were completely blown away. The dishes were so original and refined that they left us speechless.
Traditional cuisine where regional products are showcased with the chef's personal touch.
A concise menu confirms that everything we ate was cooked fresh in the kitchen.
Originality is the order of the day… Even the tiramisu would make our Italian friends blush… and I know what I'm talking about. Everything was perfect, worthy of a gourmet restaurant, if not more, with unbeatable value for money.
It had been a long time since we'd found such a wonderful place.
A huge thank you to this fantastic team.
We've already made our next reservation.

17/02/2026: There are many pizzerias in Orchies, but few that truly stand out.
La Squadra, however, is the best of them.
The prices are relatively high for the average quality, but if you're hungry, a large pizza will certainly satisfy you.
Beware of the lottery when it comes to pizzas with an egg; I got sick twice in one year.
12/02/2026: The order was ready quickly and the size was as advertised, which was appreciated.
However, the quality of the ingredients left much to be desired. The potatoes weren't cooked enough, the chorizo was clearly lacking in flavor (it didn't have the expected typical taste), and the pizza was slightly burnt in places.
At €28 for two pizzas, the value for money didn't seem to be there.
There's little competition in Orchies, but that's not enough to make up for a mediocre experience. I'm not sure I'll be back under these circumstances.

30/01/2026: Very disappointed. We used to come here a few years ago, and it was very good, but it seems there have been several changes of ownership since COVID.
We decided to try again with these new owners.
Very expensive, greasy noodles (we paid for stir-fried noodles with vegetables, but there were no vegetables at all...), fritters that looked mass-produced, and worst of all, cashew chicken with a slimy, gooey sauce and bits of fat—it was quite disgusting.
We only ate because we were hungry and had paid.
It's nothing like the food you find in China or Vietnam.
16/01/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant and honestly... if I could give it 10 stars, I would! The Peking dumplings were delicious, but the beef with onions was just... wow! 😍😍😍 The beef was so tender and melted in your mouth, and the onions were just as good—perfectly cooked, with a perfectly balanced sauce! I'm so glad I discovered this fantastic little restaurant!! The value for money is amazing! We ate incredibly well and were completely satisfied, and the bill was more than reasonable!
The chef was fantastic, and the waitress was very friendly and welcoming.
We'll definitely be back!

13/02/2026: Prices keep going up, I'm giving up. I've always come here every week, but everything is more expensive and there are tons of extras. The 20 nuggets to share cost 2 euros, the kids' menu requires an extra charge for a cheeseburger, a croquette, and applesauce or apple juice, and the sauces aren't included anymore, or when you do order them, they're often forgotten. I'm going to Burger King, goodbye.
13/02/2026: The service was incredibly slow, 25 minutes to get my drive-thru order, just a simple double cheeseburger, and it was barely 11:30 am. I can't imagine what it's like during rush hour.
And on top of that, it was cold.
In short, I won't be going back.

21/04/2024: A good bakery which has evolved well since the takeover, by new managers, the staff is very friendly, the choice of breads and pastries is excellent! Thank you because there are few bakeries in Orchies
30/03/2024: In March 2024, me and my friend went to Orchies for a flea market, which unfortunately did not exist... We therefore fell back on this bakery which seemed very nice to us, attracted by the intoxicating smells.. .
Since we didn't have lunch, we chose to have 2 rolls each. True FRENCH know-how.
The bun wasn't bad but could be improved! The chocolate was poorly distributed and the puff pastry was too present.
That said, and even if the price is a little high (1€10 per roll), they are very filling and kept us full. This goes wonderfully with coffee!
Nothing to say about the welcome, it is pleasant and warm.
The location is perfect: placed at the crossroads. On the other hand, the facade can be improved, a little lick of paint would not be amiss!
