05/04/2024: Order taken by phone, jaded person on the line, who almost hangs up on you, doesn't even take the name, in short, not a great first impression... In terms of quality of the cuisine, we are not there but not at all, a soup made of float with mushrooms swimming in it and with a dubious smell. A tray of rolls with salmon that smells like corpses... I swallowed one, my partner did too, we made faces... 😡 The rice, tastes weak, looks like overcooked rice forgotten on the stove, even the basics are not there... All the accompaniments, sauces, wasabi, ginger, etc. in small plastic bags, that says a lot too. The few other sushi looked fresher, it saves the furniture, but nothing exceptional... In short, first and last visit to this "restaurant"... First jap' from Compiègne that I tested and what a disappointment, nothing to do with those from Senlis for example, the gap is enormous!

29/03/2024: Clearly, this hotel has a knack for annoying people. I remember you had a fleet problem. Well I also have my anecdote: I reserve a specific room, number 44. I rush in confidently: “Oh no, room occupied…”. You ask for a neighboring room: “ah no, very popular area…” You point out that you booked 15 days in advance but nothing happens, you are handed something completely different: you sense something punitive in the tone, a a sort of perverse pleasure in making you understand that you are not at home. Result: no breakfast or dinner here, and, next time, Pierrefonds or Airbnb: I point out that the room here is 98 euros; for 96, you have a Hausmannian apartment in the center of Compiègne (without parking, it is true), 75 for a residence close to the forest, with parking. Finally, why do we come here? Out of nostalgia and habit. We have frequented so many Campaniles over the past 30 years... Some delicious (do you remember Lingolsheim?), many run by remarkable people (Mont-Saint-Aignan, Laxou...). You do what you want but I, Compiègne, won't be taken there anymore: 100 bucks to see me pass away an unrequested room with 2 small beds and without a word of regret... I don't have the AirBnB reflex yet and I thank these hoteliers for encouraging me to adopt other habits. I will share my good addresses with you, as you can imagine.

26/03/2024: On site for 3 nights, room at the back on the park side, very quiet, very clean room, good and plentiful meal, professional and welcoming staff, attentive.

01/04/2024: False advertising “open 24 hours a day”. After 3 attempts on different days and weeks between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., it was impossible to be served, each time due to a “computer failure” which seemed to occur every morning.
