06/03/2026: An excellent restaurant in its category. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Reasonable portions and high quality. The staff is friendly. The decor is chic, but don't expect anything too stereotypical. There's not much that evokes India.
02/03/2026: I wanted a change from traditional restaurants, and I absolutely don't regret choosing TAJ MAHAL. A complete change of scenery for the taste buds. I opted for the tasting menu, and I truly enjoyed it; a real wealth of flavors, spices that create very aromatic dishes that transport you to another world. The atmosphere is wonderful in a bright setting, and I loved the Indian-inspired cutlery, which adds to the immersive experience. The service was top-notch, absolutely nothing to complain about. Try it without hesitation; you'll be back...

23/02/2026: They accommodated eleven of us and we had a meal served with excellent attention to detail, which isn't always the case. A restaurant I highly recommend. The waiter was very responsive, and we thank him for his professionalism and kindness.
21/02/2026: In a slightly kitschy setting, we had a wonderful meal! Everything was cooked perfectly, served piping hot, everything was perfect, right down to the generous gourmet coffee! And continuous service, a rarity in Bagnole! We highly recommend it.

18/03/2026: A very pleasant romantic stay, perfect location, no need for a car, private parking, the room was a little more expensive because of the lake view but magnificent 😍
Impeccable cleanliness, a fairly large spa, very welcoming staff, delicious food at the restaurant, generous breakfast, and a very good, high-quality casino show.
In short, we will gladly return!
15/03/2026: Friendly welcome, clean and comfortable room.
The only downside was the hotel restaurant: very low-quality food, mediocre meat, ridiculous burger, far too expensive for a Saturday night with such poor-quality ingredients.

22/02/2026: Hello, We stayed two nights in Bagnoles de l'Orne at the Hotel Le Roc au Chien. Ideally located near the thermal baths and the town center, we received a very warm welcome! The hotel was comfortable, with breakfasts featuring local products and private parking. We will definitely return and highly recommend this establishment! José & Julia

01/03/2026: The hotel is very well located, with parking, a decent room for the price, and a comfortable mattress. It was very quiet. Breakfast was simple. The welcome was very warm.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant in the evening was also very pleasant, with delicious dishes.
12/10/2025: This restaurant impressed us with its exquisite dishes. The cuisine was simply divine, and the dishes were an explosion of flavors. Generous portions at affordable prices.

The waitress was very nice, but the waiter? A disaster.
My fiancé and I had decided to have a drink before going to a restaurant for our 4th anniversary.
We arrived when they opened and ordered coffee and hot chocolate, which were deliberately refused.
"We don't serve hot drinks anymore" when we opened?
A group arrived and ordered hot chocolate, which they accepted.
No hot drinks when they opened, but exceptionally refused for us.
We were polite, as far as I know. Maybe they have a problem with gay people. Who knows.
We won't be back, that's for sure.

22/03/2026: Not great at all. You make a reservation for several people, which is clearly noted on the table, but nobody seems to know. The staff isn't very friendly, except for the two young waiters who do their best but get yelled at in front of the customers. It's not easy for them, though, because there's a real mess with the tables. You order a Leffe Ruby, and they serve you a Leffe with poorly measured strawberry syrup – that's not what a Leffe is supposed to be. The meal consisted of an undercooked andouillette sausage and a dry goat cheese and honey pizza with more honey than goat cheese. It was my first time there, but I'll be disappointed again.
21/03/2026: The waiter on the terrace was unpleasant, unfriendly, and unwelcoming! He asked for a table for four and was spoken to so coldly and unkindly. Very poor for a restaurant in this beautiful city. For that reason alone, I strongly advise against going there!

21/02/2026: The apartments offered for rent are in a deplorable state: bedding, microwave, mattress... the heating doesn't work, so it's freezing in winter, not to mention the delivery truck at 3 a.m. that wakes you up. Finally, we were asked to pay in cash with an extra charge. Avoid at all costs.
14/02/2026: We arrived at the owner's place. The customers were almost intrusive. She didn't know where the cocktail menu was.
She charged us €12 instead of €8!
Avoid at all costs!

23/10/2025: Beautiful place, well located at the entrance to Bagnolles-de-l'Orne.
We had booked this place through Smartbox (which I don't generally recommend anymore), but almost exceptionally for these gift boxes, there was no extra charge when booking!!
That said, a very friendly welcome from all the staff, a beautiful establishment including a hotel, a lovely restaurant with well-considered offerings and quality dishes, a beautiful outdoor terrace, a local produce store...
One small drawback: in the standard room we occupied, the toilet (with a very, or...too low seat) is located in the bathroom, and the shower has to be taken in a bathtub without a non-slip base. My wife refused to take the risk.
But the bedding was quality!!!
