29/03/2024: I think this will be one of the few memorable cafes I've tried in Europe. :-) I think the unfriendly thing below is probably the employee Sabasa. They greeted us kindly when we visited and smiled and said hello on our way out. There was nothing special about the interior or atmosphere. The coffee tastes really great.

26/03/2024: Stumbled upon this place and coffee was just fine, nothing special to be honest. Very small space, uncomfortably busy, for coffee that is just average & you could find somewhere else. Had a pretentious vibe about it that was unwelcoming. I was sat outside drinking coffee that I’d bought from dreamin man, and pulled out a pastry I bought elsewhere (a shop I also had stumbled on that morning). The guy told me I couldn’t eat that mid bite which I understand but was also uncomfortable as I still had most of my coffee to drink and it felt spoiled by this……wouldn’t recommend. Plenty of other nice coffee shops around the area

02/02/2024: We went when the chef Sarika Sor was there, we ended up ordering everything on the menu. Very good culinary experience, the welcome was friendly, they also make good cocktails.

05/01/2024: Yesterday, the server knocked over red wine glasses and my clothes, including my husband's Moncler padding, got soaked, and they didn't even refund the laundry fee for expensive clothes. I don't know if the red wine stains will come off on the clothes after washing. Yesterday, we believed that they would refund the laundry fee and went out to pay for the meal ourselves even though we were in a bad mood, but today when we saw the laundry fee receipt, they changed their tune. If you have any complaints, speak to a lawyer. He told me that it didn't matter since he was closing this restaurant at the end of this month and that I could take care of it. We and our friends had a bad evening at a restaurant we had never been to before, our clothes got ruined, there was no responsibility or trust, and I really dislike this restaurant.

16/06/2024: I wanted a pancake to warm me up with a good latte: here they are served with nutella and banana slices, sprinkled with coconut! I recommend 😋 Their menu is to be discovered 👌

09/06/2024: The “Parisian” breakfast is very disappointing. Indeed, the promised yogurt is just an individual Danone plain placed roughly on a plate, accompanied by a not very fresh croissant. Hot chocolate is just water with powder, not very tasty. The orange juice is passable, but it’s still store-bought juice.

15/04/2024: Be careful for tourists, restaurant that scams, does not give receipts and charges extra without ordering from customers, for us €5 more, welcome from the pleasant owner, we were the first customers, the service the young man not pleasant, jaded, doesn't even make the effort to articulate, has nothing to do in a restaurant, to be avoided!!

24/05/2024: We had an after work party in this bar and it was great. Adorable team, great atmosphere, I especially recommend the extremely varied and very tasty boards. There is also a vintage Tabobine photo booth, a very cool concept and we come away with a beautiful souvenir 🤩

More than 90€/person for: a kitchen without extraction so the room was smoky all evening, a waitress who didn't know the menu ("did we offer you today's suggestions?" "No" "So...uh... .bah...uh...it's...uh..." embarrassing) or tells us that she "has to check if there's any left in the kitchen" but doesn't go to check and above all doesn't keep us informed . Fish ordered which changes variety after the starter, without asking us if it still suits us, what's more goes down in quality but not the price, very nicely presented on the plate but overcooked, and the very small accompaniment is served in a separate plate but almost at the end of the dish. Not at the same time, weird. Very good entry. Dessert also very nicely presented but very strange associations in the mouth and without interest. The service is very attentive and caring. The sommelier is very enthusiastic and speaks with passion and great precision. So we let him make a selection for us. We choose the wrong wine: flat, without structure or length, zero fruit, no emotion and a lot of acidity for a southern red. Response from the person concerned: I like it. OK. He gets upset. We keep the wine so as not to add more and above all give the product a chance after opening. “We're going to put it in the fridge, it'll open it up” they tell us...the first time I've heard that, especially since it was already at the perfect temperature. Evolution does not improve wine. "We're going to leave it at room temperature because it's a little cool, it'll do it good." Not serious, especially at more than €50 a bottle. I probably had the wrong day. In the provinces this would not work. In the 11th so obviously. Damage.

17/04/2024: Birthday evening organized at the Atelier des Artistes. Very pleasant, festive and friendly setting made up of several spaces well suited to this type of event. Attentive and attentive team. On the other hand, the quantities planned for the buffet dinner were largely insufficient. As regrettable as it is very annoying!

12/06/2024: Establishment to avoid. We went there on a Saturday evening because everything else was crowded, the place was almost empty, we understand better why. The standard was really low-end, and the prices rather high. The quality of the pizzas was poor, with lots of water and food that didn't stay in place. Sour beer to avoid.

07/04/2024: Authentic and mind-blowing story: On 07/01/2012 I was leaving a Pupy y Los que Son Son concert at the New Morning, with two friends. Great evening and great concert with a fiery atmosphere, to the rhythm of Cuban Salsa! To continue the evening, around 10:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. one of my friends suggests going to L'alimente Générale, where he praises the merits and the great atmosphere. I didn't know this place. Arriving there, the bouncer at the entrance lets me in (I am of South American origin and white skin), he lets in my friend who is "native French" but blocks the entry to our other friend who is from North African origin. Stunned, he asks him the reason; the bouncer replies that it's because he has a sports jacket and that at L'alimentation Générale we don't let people in who have a tracksuit jacket. At the same time, he lets in “young white-skinned bobos” dressed in basketball jeans and track jackets, like my friend. I remind the bouncer that such behavior is a racist offense. He replies with a sly look: “these are the instructions. You can go back, but he won’t come back!” Out of obvious solidarity with my friend, we left. I am not about to set foot in this place which practices racial discrimination without complexes!
