11/03/2024: Gourmet restaurant, rather reserved for fans of the genre.
It is one of the “top” gourmet restaurants in Paris.
Nothing to complain about, plate, service, decor, everything is perfect.
To be honest, as we are not used to this type of establishment, we started joking with the waiters, who kindly played the game with us. At the end of the meal we apologized to our familiars and they said that they appreciated participating when the customers didn't take themselves too seriously, it was a bit of a change from their routine.
In short, we had an unforgettable time.
As I was a guest, I won't be able to comment on the price, but a restaurant of this level, in Paris, Champs Élisée, requires a very solid bank account.
Please note, we took advantage of the last month when Thierry MARX worked as a Chef in the kitchen. It will now be another Chef, let's hope that the quality does not go away.

29/03/2024: As I write these lines I still wonder if this is all a big joke or if it is really real. Unfortunately, the joke still hasn't ended yet.
I had a drink and enjoyed an aperitif with a friend at the Ritz bar and when paying I made a mistake between my personal card and my professional card. So I paid half of the bill with my business card and asked for an invoice for the amount paid.
And then... it all begins. While getting a bill for the amount paid is a given in any restaurant and bar. This is a request that is obviously absolutely complex.
They first explain to me that they will issue me an invoice for an amount close to the €56 paid, I explain that this is not possible, the amounts must correspond exactly.
I am told that I will have to send an email to the director… (I have never seen that in my life but ok)
So I send an email telling myself that it is very surprising not to be able to obtain an invoice for the amount paid without sending an email to the director but I do it thinking that it would stop there.
What a mistake I am making to think that requesting an invoice from the Ritz would be settled so simply.
1st email the same day I am told that I will have a return.
2nd email the next day to thank the feedback and to indicate that I have not received any feedback
3rd email the next day to request a return and finally have this invoice which seems to me (still at present) to be a SIMPLE request.
No answer
4th email changing tone (my weariness is starting to show)
This time a return and I am promised a return in the afternoon.
The return ? Arrived well. By sending me the departure note and my credit card receipt (these two elements were the attachments of my first email requesting the invoice)
5 emails to different people to obtain the basic receipt and my credit card receipt when I simply ask for an invoice for the amount paid.
What mistake did I make paying with a professional card? How much energy was spent on a simple invoice that any establishment is supposed to make instantly.
What a disappointment for a place that reminds me of places where everything seems possible and where all requests are achievable. Here the limit is to obviously ask for an invoice.
So to date I still have nothing to give to my accountant.

03/04/2024: Quite an unusual experience. Because of its high profile guests the hotel is almost invisible from the outside and dark (ie low light) on the inside. I feel they have taken the latter too far, making the place look sad and macabre. However, this may be appealing to some people. The room we stayed in was red but again poorly lit. It had a Bohemian mansarde feel to it which I loved. Staff were great. The beautiful (and very young) models employed are a sight to the old eyes.

28/03/2024: 100% recommended place to eat in Paris (quality, price and location). The food is very good and the people in charge are very friendly. We ordered several sandwiches and burgers, and everything was very delicious. It was a success to eat here. It's a small place, but they have several tables inside where you can eat. The place is adjacent to another restaurant with a similar name (Flottes), so it can lead to confusion and you have to pay close attention to the name. A place of 10.

05/04/2024: My worst experience in Paris. The waiter, the manager and the employees are plotting against the tourists. They treated me terribly and when I wanted to get up to leave before the drinks were served, they forced me to pay when the drinks were not yet served. The waiter is not only rude but violent. Nothing that has not been said in previous opinions. Congratulations, continue subtracting stars.

13/05/2024: Service was almost comically slow-we waited over an hour for food to arrive, presumably something went wrong-but when it came it was worth waiting for; everything we had was delicious. Choose the set menus with wine pairings, the wines are well chosen to complement the food and this option makes them reasonable. Despite the service glitches and the not especially warm servers, this place should absolutely be on your list for excellent and innovative cuisine.

The location is nice between Madeleine and Place de la Concorde.
Everything is homemade, we had a blast!
The staff and the boss are very friendly, accommodating and attentive.

04/04/2024: In the space of two months, I came to this bar 4 times with colleagues to have a beer after work.
We take turns paying the bills, without ever really looking at what we are being charged.
Today, noticing an error on a beer overcharged on the bill, I took the liberty of drawing the staff's attention to this error.
Without understanding anything, I was taken to task (in front of all the customers and my group of friends) by a waiter, who accused me of being at the origin of numerous excesses with the waitresses, the women and the children who came to the restaurant, as well as systematically challenging the bills.
Politely, I took the liberty of drawing his attention to the fact that he was mistaken about the person and that I had never been the cause of the slightest incident with anyone, or of the slightest dispute over additions.
Despite the fact that my colleagues came to my defense, insisting on the misunderstanding, the waiter continued his monologue, insulting me several times in front of my colleagues who were amazed by the spectacle.
In short, I still don't understand what happened but what I am sure of is that this bar lost 5 customers this evening.
A word of advice: Remember to check your additions.
04/04/2024: Very bad experience, the waiters tried to charge my group for drinks that had not been consumed, and verbally attacked one of my friends!
We are regulars at this bar and have come several times for a drink without the slightest problem (whether in terms of exchanges with the staff, other customers or paying for drinks), until today.
Indeed, as we were going to pay the bill, one of my friends noticed that a beer that we had not drunk was included, and politely reported it to the staff, so that it could be removed. of the note.
In response, my friend received not only a dismissal, but also a barrage of personal attacks from two of the waiters, who shockingly and lunarly accused him of having inappropriate behavior with waitresses, "women and children", lying and systematically having problems when paying the bills.
As my friend continued to refuse to pay for the beer, the color of which we had never seen, the waiters joined forces with him to try to force him to comply.
It was only when the rest of our group came closer and confirmed that we had never been served this beer that the waitress removed it from the bill, nonetheless continuing to claim to have served it.
Such behavior and such serious and unfounded accusations are intolerable, especially to justify the presence of a beer on a bill.
If we never set foot in this bar again, I advise those who venture there to monitor the number of drinks charged to them in the bills, and to never contest them otherwise they will be treated as a harasser by the manager. staff.
In short, to flee.

I will add a fifth star when you make a mortadella-pistachio-burrata pizza.
02/04/2024: Friendly and welcoming staff but the space between each table is far too small. It's complicated to cut your pizza without nudging your neighbor.
We ordered Penne pasta, and noticed a lack of authenticity. The pasta didn't taste homemade but tasted just like supermarket bought pasta.
The pizza, for its part, was not bad but the bottom was charred and the egg was completely raw.

05/05/2024: Honestly everything was great! The Sunday brunch buffet is every penny worth. I loved it! The homemade mayonnaise was a dream, and I loved the choices of honey!
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I would really have needed the name and the allergens of the individual items on a small piece of paper! I would have loved to try more of the delicious food but I was a bit scared about my allergies.
Other than that, I would 100% recommend!
