22/08/2024: The steak and fries were nice but the steak was tough.
The staff are very nice with a decent house wine.
Reasonable value for money.
We arrived around 8 and there was no need to book.
18/08/2024: A bistro in Paris with the friendliest waiters and talented chefs! The seats were a bit narrow, but as is the case in all but the most high-end restaurants in Paris, there were no complaints. The food was really delicious, and thanks to the clerk Aurélién's recommendation, I was able to enjoy the flavor of the French gourmet goat cheese dish! I would also like to thank Anne Laure, who appears to be the owner of the restaurant, for her kindness. Our anniversary in Paris was precious.

14/12/2024: Very average food… I do not recommend.
We ordered lemongrass shrimp soups and it felt like we were drinking lemon juice with some shrimp swimming inside.
The assortments weren't any better. It's best to avoid!
On the other hand, good service and attentive staff (although a little abrupt)

29/09/2024: We stopped to eat. Very pleasant atmosphere and very original vinyl on the ceiling. The mid-day offer is a very good option and with very low prices. Correct portions and very good service.
10/09/2024: Very good lunch option at €14.90, with a good daily special, friendly welcome & shopkeeper, we will come back! Place to recommend.

17/12/2024: The letter is not very extensive. But the selection we made was perfect. The meat had a very rich butter sauce reminiscent of that of the Café de Paris. The tartare was also very good. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant. Highly recommended

21/07/2024: Lived on Rue du Tournon in June while teaching a study abroad...great restaurant...the actual address for this restaurant was mentioned in the classic film called "The Story of Three Loves." Kirk Douglas is the one who gives the address of this fabulous restaurant to a woman whose life he saved.
10/07/2024: A historic bistro reminiscent of the Saint Germain des Pres from the 1950s. Very nice for a drink or a quiet lunch, as rue de Tournon is not very busy. We believe we are in the countryside while being in front of the Senate. Very nice clientele, in all respects, and a charming and attentive young man in charge.

10/12/2024: La comida aquí es maravillosa! El ambiente es un bistró parisino tradicional, así que debes saber algunas cosas antes de irte: sí, el espacio es reducido, tienen menos de 10 mesas y no toman walkins. Sí, son parisinos, el servicio es rápido y al grano, pero me pareció que si pide sugerencias amablemente están encantados de recomendar y ayudar. Esto no es un servicio en Estados Unidos, no esperes que te mimen y beban, no están trabajando para recibir propinas que están trabajando para servir comida tradicional increíble, ¡lo que hacen increíblemente! El pato confitado iba a morir y la crema negra sigue viviendo en mi cabeza sin renta.
09/12/2024: Sueño con la comida que tengo aquí. El bourguignon de ternera y el au gratinado de patata eran increíbles. El espacio es pequeño e íntimo. Los precios son razonables, no puedo esperar a volver.

18/09/2024: The combination of time and a change of ownership has not been kind to this formerly wonderful bistro. While we were happy to find it on a Sunday night after wandering the 6th looking desperately for somewhere open to eat, there was much lacking in the meal, despite the efforts of a kind staff. Plates were sloppily prepared, sides were the same across several meals, and the food lacked the energy that it used to have. But the rose was decent and we had a good time. Eat there only if necessary.
13/09/2024: Food was amazing! They are a bit more lad with the service so Americans beware - but it's well worth it!

15/08/2024: The place has changed and is now called Rose Mound, but the interiors are the same. However, menu has been expanded, and short, interesting, and trustable selection of Patrol is now just a block deep in the list of pizzas, pastas and other "tourist" items. It wouldn't be a problem, but the quality of the food went south and is now below a 3-star hotel's breakfast selection.
