30/07/2026: The food was tasteless and even the sausages lacked flavor. In addition, the red wine was extremely warm, above room temperature. We got the bill without asking for it. The waiter was rude and was angry that we asked for the menu. The duck legs were dry and almost certainly reheated. The tartare was mixed with something we suspect was ketchup or similar. The fries were unsalted. Overall not a good experience and not at all on par with other reviews. We ate at 7:30 PM Ish

10/07/2026: Le Mâchon d’Henri was the perfect way to end our trip to Paris. We ordered the duck breast with honey sauce and the entrecôte with bone marrow, and both were excellent. The duck was easily the best I’ve ever had, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. This will definitely be a must-visit whenever we return to Paris.

16/06/2026: Perfect for a diner-style lunch, I really enjoyed the lunch menu available until 2 pm. There's a selection of soft drinks included. The eggs Benedict were perfect, and the Bloody Mary was just like in the US. The pancakes are the perfect portion if you want to share and order a savory dish. I highly recommend it. Thank you very much, I'll be back! 👌🏻

12/06/2026: We arrived at lunchtime and were quickly seated, with fast service. The burgers were delicious, as were the brownie and ice cream. The atmosphere was very pleasant, reminiscent of an American diner. We highly recommend it!

03/06/2026: The Bouillon bar only had one waiter on a Saturday night, and he was anything but welcoming. Although the dining room was nearly empty, he exuded a lack of enthusiasm for his work. I advise against sitting at the bar if the Bouillon next door is full. I recommend booking the Bouillon dining room well in advance to ensure you get a table and avoid being relegated to the bar next door.

23/03/2026: It's a bit overrated. The Poilâne bread is excellent, and the vegetables used in the salads and on the open-faced sandwiches are fresh and flavorful. The seasoning is good. However, I didn't find any ham in the salad, so I had a vegetarian salad. The open-faced sandwich was good but also vegetarian; we didn't find the shredded duck, even though it was listed in the dish description.

21/03/2026: The open-faced sandwiches were very good, with four different options. The desserts were also good. However, the price seemed a bit high to me: €13 for an open-faced sandwich or a quiche is a bit excessive in my opinion. The service could be faster, especially at lunchtime, but it's still reasonable.

18/06/2026: A very pleasant wine bar in the city center. The servers are genuine, and there's a sheltered courtyard, which smokers will appreciate.

29/05/2026: I think the only positive point is the bar's location. Sainte Anne is undoubtedly one of our favorite spots in Rennes, and a whole spirit surrounds this place: solidarity, mutual support, kindness, laughter, and good humor… I think the staff (at least the short-haired waitress) didn't grasp this atmosphere or mentality. Unpleasant, aggressive, condescending, and rude, she put us off this bar, which we're not likely to set foot in again. Yet, the long-haired waitress and her colleague who were at the bar on May 27, 2026, were lovely. It's a real shame.
