03/04/2026: My father went there last night with his colleagues and was subjected to several serious racist insults before being refused entry. It's disgusting to do that and you should shut it down.

23/03/2026: It's a bit overrated. The Poilâne bread is excellent, and the vegetables used in the salads and on the open-faced sandwiches are fresh and flavorful. The seasoning is good. However, I didn't find any ham in the salad, so I had a vegetarian salad. The open-faced sandwich was good but also vegetarian; we didn't find the shredded duck, even though it was listed in the dish description.

21/03/2026: The open-faced sandwiches were very good, with four different options. The desserts were also good. However, the price seemed a bit high to me: €13 for an open-faced sandwich or a quiche is a bit excessive in my opinion. The service could be faster, especially at lunchtime, but it's still reasonable.

30/04/2026: We visited the Jardin du Luxembourg and wanted to enjoy a bottle of wine there. Unfortunately, the bottle had a cork. We asked at Café Fleurus if they could open it for us. The incredibly kind waiter opened it and saved our afternoon. We never would have expected that. A thousand thanks for the help!!!

05/04/2026: A truly authentic Parisian café, the kind you see less and less these days. The decor hasn't changed; it feels like stepping back into the Paris of yesteryear, with that slightly old-fashioned charm that gives it all its appeal. The service is friendly, attentive, and never pushy; you quickly feel like a regular. The food is excellent, generous, and expertly prepared, in keeping with the best of traditional cuisine with an authentic Auvergne touch. (The meat even comes from there!) What I particularly love is the mix of clientele: tourists passing through, local teachers and students, and true Parisians from the area—a fantastic melting pot that brings the place to life. And to top it all off, the owner is incredibly friendly, always present in the dining room, taking the time to chat and make sure everything is going smoothly. As for the prices, they're far from the Parisian standard. An address to treasure if you love authentic Parisian cafés.

09/12/2025: A beautiful spot right across from the Luxembourg Gardens with a truly exceptional menu you won't find anywhere else. A real pleasure to have lunch or dinner at this restaurant with its great vibes! Highly recommended.

29/06/2026: The location, right across from the Luxembourg Gardens, is undoubtedly the establishment's main selling point. Unfortunately, the service is sorely lacking. The waiters ignore you, you have to wait a long time to be served, there's not a smile, and they're barely polite. It's a shame, because the setting is pleasant, but the poor quality of service ruins the experience. Personally, apart from the location, I don't recommend this establishment and I won't be returning.
