30/03/2024: This was our first dining experience in Paris and all we can say is wow! Everything we had was superb and the prices are excellent for what you get. We had the cheese platter, sirloin, veal and pavlova for dessert. There is also a fantastic selection of wine to choose from. I'm not kidding you when I say this is one of the best meals we've ever had. Not to mention the staff were very accommodating of English once they heard me struggle through attempting to communicate in French. Just note you will likely want to make a reservation if possible as this is a small place. Only negative is that we would like to come more often but we're on a different continent. Merci Le Maxan!

25/04/2024: I put 2 stars out of respect for Pierre Gagnaire. But unfortunately between Fouquet's and Cyril Lignac's dragon I am more than disappointed! Fouquet's in Dubai is so much better... In terms of reception and service it was already average, but then the food! Frankly disappointed, too simple, not enough to elaborate and my blanquette of veal 🫨 my god, the pieces of meat selected are full of fat and gelatinous... Disappointed, I won't go back there again! It's crazy all the same, in Switzerland the Fouquet's was good, in Dubai, exceptional and in Paris, disaster, it's shameful for the price.

03/04/2024: Very nice place. Great service and delicious food! I ordered a delicious eggplant lasagna, I really liked it. Despite being very close to the Champs Elysées, it was not crowded.

26/03/2024: Stop putting everything down! Come to the relay, have the foie gras, then continue with the sea bream gratin and finish with the fig tart. You won't go wrong and will surely come back. We've been back 3 times now and we never get tired of it. A big congratulations! Special mention for the large back room ❤️

20/03/2024: My favorite restaurant in Paris: excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. The staff are lovely, incredibly knowledgeable and discreet, which is rare to find, even in very good establishments. We simply feel good there.

05/04/2024: The poulpe is delightful - one of the best octopus dishes I’ve had outside the Med. Great spot, super interesting cocktails, small list but great hits. I’d recommend for date night, even group dinners!

04/04/2024: Restaurant attracts tourists. The prices are super high compared to the portion, the plates are not washed well, there are stains left on them. The crew not efficient or observant in clearing or serving. The cuisine is decent in taste (chicken skewers very very sweet all the same), but given the rest which is quite disappointing I don't recommend this place.
