22/02/2026: Loved the beautiful food and especially loved the sommeliers wit. My only criticism was on our exit where all the serving staff seemed to disappear and no proper farewell. Most high end Parisian restaurants manage a better farewell.

21/02/2026: I had an exceptional evening at Le Clarence with my parents. From the very beginning, we were captivated by the beauty of the setting and delighted to be seated in the heart of the library. The personalized experience was perfect, with a fish- and seafood-free menu specially created for my father due to his dietary restrictions. We were charmed by the originality of the dishes and thoroughly enjoyed the chef's surf-and-turf combinations. The service was absolutely outstanding, with an energetic, generous, refined, and witty team that contrasted sharply with the classic décor. We appreciated the personality of each team member, who always spoke with great precision and made our evening truly special. Special mention goes to the sommelier who, in addition to recommending exceptional wines while perfectly respecting our budget, offered us tastings of several selections and, as a bonus, gave us a tour of the kitchens and the hotel floors at the end of the meal. A huge thank you also to the restaurant manager, who was incredibly attentive and made our evening truly memorable. I highly recommend this superb restaurant for a unique and completely personalized experience. We will gladly return, confident of a warm welcome.

The cuisine is simply excellent: high-quality, flavorful dishes, perfectly executed, with excellent value for money. A place where you feel comfortable, where you eat very well, and to which you always return with pleasure. Without hesitation, one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. I highly recommend it!

14/02/2026: As a fine dining enthusiast, Le Cinq was not exactly in my bucket list given it's not as popular as some other world renowned restaurants. As expected, the flavours from the mains didn't quite live up to the mark but the other courses made up by a great extent. Decided to go with the À la carte option and I'm so glad to have done that since I wasn't keen of most of the dishes on the tasting menu. Got the classic Spaghetti gratin and I could clearly tell the massive amount of effort going into just the presentation. What I noticed was a dominant butter texture in the dish, the other components like the mushroom and ham could have had more seasoning perhaps? The dish felt one tone for the most part, still not bad. The other was the Sea bass, and again the butter dominated the dish. Still this time, I could taste the buttermilk tartiness and the amazing fish, cooked perfectly, with caviar. At this point it was clear, french food really doesn't have much spice to it, like butter, pepper and salt is good...but spices from around the world really could elevate this cuisine to another level. The courses that blew me away were the amuse bouches at the beginning, the waffle like starter along with the other offerings were definitely one of the top aperitifs I've ever tasted. The pistachio sorbet, it was my first time trying it savoury style and it was amazing. The dessert - Spicy pineapple - simply SUBLIME! It was the best dish of the evening; I could taste the fruit and earthy herbs which really made me nostalgic. So magical! For this reason alone I'll raise my rating from 4 to 5 stars. It was better than the crunchy grapefruit (the popular le cinq dessert) in my opinion. While it had a lot of dimensions to it, I wasn't wowed, and maybe because it was eclipsed by the dessert preceding it :D What I loved about this experience were the additional offerings of Kouign Aman, pre-dessert called dairy iced, etc. which were all complimentary. The service was good, though I'm not a big sucker for this aspect as I'm usually just focussed on the food. Would certainly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience.

13/02/2026: A very nice restaurant, run by Denis, who knows his way around service. The menu is small and everything is made fresh. I go there regularly with my son and husband on Saturdays, or with colleagues during the week. Denis manages a helpful, friendly, and dynamic team. And the icing on the cake is that he knows his wine. A place I highly recommend.

The manager has always run this restaurant with great dedication. The food is delicious, and this restaurant has always prioritized quality. Well done.

07/03/2026: We got a table very quickly and the service was wonderful 😊 must eat is the duck confit and the creme brulee! A very nice asthetic inside with pictures of all the famous celebrities who have visited in the past. If your around the Champs Elysees and haven't had lunch yet, definitely worth it.
