04/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, with a warm welcome and friendly service. The pizzas have a thin crust and are generously topped. The steak tartare is delicious, the fries aren't greasy, and the desserts are very nice.

31/05/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant, and we were glad we'd made a reservation. We were seated on the terrace. The dishes were delicious and generous; in the photos: Italian salad, hibiscus pizza, burger (butcher-style ground beef, pesto, mozzarella...) and a gourmet coffee. The servers were very friendly. Less than €30 for a main course, dessert, and a soft drink. We'll definitely be back!

04/05/2026: A wonderful restaurant run entirely by a very kind couple. The chef is passionate, and it shows. The dishes are generous and made with love, and the wife is always incredibly welcoming. It can often be very busy, so reservations are recommended, especially in the evening. Since the wife manages the dining room and all the customers single-handedly, there may sometimes be a long wait, but you can be sure of a delicious meal if you're patient.

01/06/2026: The menu is very attractive and varied, with something for every taste, appetite, and budget. The dishes are beautifully presented and the ingredients are of good quality. The terrace is lovely on sunny days, and the waitress is very friendly with quick and impeccable service. In fact, all the staff are very welcoming. The dessert menu is fantastic, with a selection of pistachio desserts that I absolutely love!

21/03/2026: A forgotten latte, and a lesson in disdain thrown in for good measure. We come regularly from the south of France, and Patapain is a place we genuinely appreciate in Orléans. We always enjoy stopping by—until this morning. The coffee machine was broken at 8:15 a.m. Fine, these things happen. Once it was fixed, my latte was ready, but no one brought it to me. I got up to fetch it myself and calmly mentioned that it was a shame—my family had finished breakfast a while ago. A young employee's response: "Well, if we could have done it differently, we would have, right?" I replied that it was still annoying. He said: "Yeah, too bad." Back at my table, I expressed my confusion to my family. He then added, from across the room: "Oh, come on, move on." That's when the problem ceased to be an oversight and became a serious mistake. I asked to speak to the manager. She responded promptly, apologized, and offered to give us some cream puffs. I politely declined. I didn't want a goodwill gesture. I wanted an apology from that employee. It never came. So yes, as he so aptly put it: what a shame. What a shame that a single employee, incapable of the slightest courtesy, is enough to tarnish the reputation of a business that deserves better than this.

10/05/2026: Really disappointed. I ordered a pizza 2 hours ago, it arrived but was cold. I won't be ordering from you again anytime soon. It's been too long.
