30/01/2024: THIS PLACE CHANGED OWNERS. The new name is LE PASSAGE. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Any where. Plainly and straight disgusting.

30/01/2024: Unfortunately, the experience was terrible, first the original restaurant was closed and now it is called by a different name - La Passage, and apparently it is really not the same level. We ordered entrecote which was disappointing and inedible pasta dishes.

04/04/2024: We couldn’t get into three of the restaurants further up the road, but La Flambee had lots of empty tables. Perhaps that tells you something. Anyway, we were persuaded by the lovely open wood fired pizza oven. What a mistake. I ordered the “tonnarelli a la sauce tomate guancialle”. It arrived incredibly quickly. The tonnarelli was very under-cooked and very hard to bite through. There was hardly any meat: it was gristly and chewy. A very poor meal. My wife had a pizza. Soggy bottom and the “toppings” placed in piles rather than spread over the pizza: she had to rearrange them. Against my better judgment I also ordered a tirimasu. It was not very nice at all; a nasty mousse poured over some stale biscuit. I have had much better tiramisu from my local supermarket. We had a good bottle of Valipolicello. I mentioned to the waitress that the tonnarelli was not cooked properly. No apology, no recompense. If you can get in anywhere else, I would recommend that you do NOT go to this restaurant.

24/02/2024: The place has been bought. The restaurant is nothing like what it used to be. The major problem is the kitchen. The menu has been greatly reduced and the dishes have changed. It's just disgusting, even simple dishes like a Caesar salad or a piece of beef are not made properly. The cooking is random and you have to like the soles to eat the meat they offer. In addition, the poor welcome does not compensate for the terrible cuisine they offer.
