21/03/2026: The half-chicken was beautifully presented and very good value for money. Reasonable prices for a mountain restaurant, around €25 on average for a main course and dessert. The waiter was pleasant and the service was quick. I recommend it 👍🏻

05/04/2026: We stopped at Chalet des Mérégers on a recommendation for their pizza. The welcome was warm, and we were told to expect a 40-minute wait, which was fine. The drinks arrived quickly. But then… nothing. After 30 minutes, our glasses were empty, and the waitress had disappeared. At 60 minutes, we asked where the pizza was: "It's coming." At 75 minutes, the same thing happened: "It's on its way." After an hour and a half, we left without eating. What disappointed us most was the attitude: whenever we asked questions, the waitress seemed annoyed, as if we were difficult customers. The beginning was promising, but the friendliness quickly evaporated. Avoid.

06/04/2026: I tried several dishes here. Visited twice for lasagna ! It was very delicious. Tiramisu is very light and big portion. The pasta was having some seeds (that I didn’t pay attention on the description), so it was not really for me. They have very light genepi, good after a meal for shot.

24/03/2026: At the foot of the slopes, a sunny terrace that opens early. Splendid mountain views. Excellent service.

22/03/2026: This was recommended for gluten free food. The staff looked at us blankly when asked what was gluten free. The attitude went downhill from there. There was one gluten free meal. The Dhal. But it was as tasteless as they come. They don't get how dangerous it can be for people with allergies. Definitely need both the staff and chefs to be brought into the modern age. The service initially was quick. And whilst a beef calzone was ordered, a normal pizza arrived returned that a calzone then arrived but it was just a pizza folded in half! Anyway it was pretty inedible. So eventually left.

05/04/2026: The bartender mocked my wife by imitating an Asian accent. This was disrespectful and racist behavior, accompanied by an unpleasant attitude.

05/04/2026: Outrageous experience. The bartender who served me greeted me with an Asian accent, clearly mocking me. It's not only disrespectful, but frankly shameful. His attitude was arrogant from beginning to end, as if he looked down on the customers. It's a far cry from the professionalism expected in this type of establishment. If this is what "service" is, he'd be better off finding another line of work. Avoid at all costs.

10/11/2025: I was very disappointed by the telephone reception. The woman who answered was cold and disrespectful; we felt like we were bothering them. It's a shame because it gives a bad impression of the establishment.

30/10/2025: Superb pizza 🍕 much better than Domino's. Domino's pizzas have a 2-meter-wide crust and very little seasoning, which is the complete opposite of Pizza Chic Bassens. I recommend it and I'll be back.

01/02/2026: The staff is friendly, warm, and welcoming. The pizzas are made with fresh ingredients (for example, the mushrooms are fresh and finely sliced ​​on-site, which is rare these days). I'll be back!

23/03/2026: A lovely little restaurant! Simple but perfectly good dishes, a very generous mixed salad, and a daily special that tastes just like home cooking! A great place to remember!

22/03/2026: The waitress scooped up the spilled digestifs from the tray and poured them into a glass, which she then served us. The service was incredibly unpleasant. The food was truly awful (especially the tartar, and the ground beef was served raw with a few other ingredients).

17/03/2026: Fantastic family-run restaurant, authentic atmosphere, top-notch service. I highly recommend the homemade lasagna, which is incredible and well worth the trip.
