04/04/2024: I ordered a half chicken this evening via Ubereats with fries, sauce, and drink.
There was no sauce and the fries were rock hard.
I'm used to ordering delivery in general, and sometimes the fries are cold and a little hard, but this time they were teeth-breaking stones.
I've never seen that, I haven't been respected at all. These are the worst fries I have eaten, I wanted to try nossa, the slap...

31/03/2024: Quality dishes chosen to transport us through Portugal, land of sun, tradition, culture, gastronomy and vineyards that have nothing to envy of the rest of Europe.
A touch of fado and traditional songs on Saturday evening would be the icing on the cake :)
I recommend this restaurant where mother and daughter, accompanied by an efficient team, roll up their sleeves to offer you their hospitality, their good humor and their radiant smiles by serving you typical Portuguese dishes, tasty and prepared with love. Prosperity to you 🙏

I absolutely do not understand the glowing comments and very flattering ratings of this establishment on Google. It's a mystery…
26/03/2024: While passing through Bordeaux, we discovered this restaurant on Google. We did well to stop there! We enjoyed ourselves from start to finish and we felt like we were in Portugal during the meal! Despite the crowds, the staff was very kind.
The dishes were very generous. We recommend !

28/03/2024: Bacon Burger and fries were very tasty, however both desserts were completely tasteless. Wine is ok. Service was friendly, runs very lean having to serve the whole restaurant alone. Atmosphere is ok nothing special. Good place, not outstanding.

I'm putting a star for the gesture because I'm Portuguese and so is my partner, but don't you deserve it!
How can I say between the very unpleasant welcome whether by telephone or on site.
You say it's by reservation, you have to do it a week in advance, but you contradict yourself because you don't know what you're going to prepare...and for me, if I go to the restaurant it's to eat something that I like !
I who thought I would rediscover a taste for my origins and share good flavors with my little boy, I am disgusted by your inhospitality, I am not ready to come back to your place and I will share it with those I know!!

27/03/2024: We were seated in the back room (almost passing through the kitchens). The soundscape makes you want to leave as quickly as possible. It's a real cathedral in terms of sound and echo, we can't hear each other, which pushes us to speak louder and therefore amplify the phenomenon.
The other room is equipped with acoustic panels intended to remedy the problem so we can assume that the problem is known but that customer comfort is not the priority in this room. 👎
Otherwise very very good cuisine, I recommend for amateurs.

05/04/2024: I've been to this Palace area 4 times in 5 years dining at different places every time. This place is definitely overrated. The food was definitely subpar. The fried chicken pasta (very bland), the beef steak with fries (simply basic), and the raw beef tartar (I kept chewing down on the hard bone pieces) were just OK.
