09/01/2024: We came to this campsite for our vacation, we couldn't wait to go to a campsite paradise because we are fans of the series. We bought a “camping paradise” bag for €2 and we are very happy with it. We only spent one night in a tent, we had reserved a pitch online and everything went well. The staff at reception were very nice, we wanted to be quiet, away from large families and the person at reception told us that if the location did not suit us, we could change on site by calling them previously. The pitches are quite spacious, we were able to enjoy the lake for a few minutes thanks to the small path near the pitches, we were no further than knee deep in the water because it was very very cold. The toilets were clean, unfortunately there was no light or lock in each toilet. We weren't able to use the swimming pool or the supermarket because everything closed quite quickly after 5 p.m., but that's normal at the beginning of September. Our corner of the campsite was very quiet, there were holidaymakers who complained because their pitch was taken by other holidaymakers who changed locations several times with their camper van and as the reception did not respond, so I told them to come and set up near us since there was still space and at the campsite reception they told us that we could choose the location we wanted. Which is good, but not always like in this case. Quite early in the morning around 7:30 a.m. I was woken up by a strange noise. When I went out I saw that there were several hot air balloons passing above us and which had just taken off on the other side of the lake, but my spouse who had earplugs didn't hear anything, so I know next time I'll take mine haha

16/10/2023: Substandard bungalow. - Mold on the bathroom blind. - Sagging floor in one of the bedrooms, the bathroom and the living room. - Tiny toilets, barely room to enter. Plus, a drafty strainer, it was as cold inside as it was outside.

01/04/2024: Crowded room for this rainy Easter Monday lunch. The servers are friendly and welcoming and must be contortionists to pass between the tables because the occupancy per m2 is so profitable! Menu at 35€ for a cod tartare (scallops absent...), a slice of leg of lamb as a lamb shank and a rather successful chocolate cake. Personally, we did not appreciate the counter jokes thrown very loudly by the bartender (boss?) to the servers who are struggling to satisfy all the customers.... In short, monopoly restaurant, basic menu, overcrowded in the room and all for a good ticket, but, it's true, with a breathtaking view of Lake Aydat.

31/03/2024: While passing through the region we had reserved a table. Generous cuisine, view of the lake, efficient and fast service. A good pick.

27/12/2023: Very disappointed by the quality of the stay at the end of September. Nothing to say about the room but we were very disappointed with the meal. Unworthy of the price paid. The new owners are not at the level of the old ones.

26/10/2023: Rented the little house in the back for two nights. Separate entrance and few overlooked, equipped kitchen, large bathroom with bathtub, comfortable living room and bedroom with lovely view of the countryside - new condition. It’s very quiet and pleasant and it’s 20 minutes from Clermont via the expressway. To recommend !
