20/08/2026: A must-visit address in Saint-Nectaire, the local products are excellent and the setting very pleasant, and let's not forget the staff who are very kind.
19/08/2026: What a fantastic discovery this brasserie is! The dishes are generous and delicious, with very good portions and impeccable value for money. The products are high quality, and I highly recommend it. It's a shame I live too far away to go back, because I definitely would. As an added bonus, Ralph comes around and says hello.

18/08/2026: We came to eat at this very good restaurant, just the two of us.
The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable (around €20 per dish).
Our only complaint is that we ordered a trout fillet with potato waffles, but we received potato rösti instead. Offering the option of small roasted potatoes, like with the other dishes, would have been a big plus.

03/06/2026: A comfortable, simply furnished hotel, perfect for a stopover from May 28th to 29th for two couples. We enjoyed a good evening meal featuring melted cheese and a good breakfast with local products. There's a private, gated parking lot opposite the hotel, and we were very pleased with the advice we received about visiting the menhir in the park via the path behind the hotel, and about finding the farms in Beau-le-Froid that sell delicious farm-made Saint-Nectaire cheese.

05/05/2026: We spent three nights at this hotel.
The staff is very welcoming and the rooms are very pleasant.
There was a small problem with a spring in room 414, but it was quickly resolved. The housekeeping staff is excellent.
The food is very good.
Special mention to the lady who was in charge of breakfast on Saturday, May 2nd. She had incredible energy serving the guests, covering miles during service to replenish the food: well done!
The only downside was the lack of cloth napkins on the tables. While this isn't a big deal, the half-sized white paper napkins are more like something you'd find at a mobile chip shop—no, not in a Mercure hotel.
04/05/2026: I was very disappointed with this hotel.
I had booked a special package that included a bottle of wine in the room upon arrival and a late dinner. However, the wine was mediocre; we didn't drink it.
We didn't use the late dinner because we were planning to enjoy the indoor pool, but it was so cold that we only took a quick dip.
This hotel is absolutely not worth the price I paid!

04/07/2026: A very friendly place, which is rare for a casino. Smiles from beginning to end. Thank you to the managers for their kindness and thank you to the very smiling, friendly, and engaging staff. Don't change a thing except maybe make the air conditioning more powerful. Thank you.
04/07/2026: The staff at this small casino were welcoming. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working on this sweltering day and the heat was unbearable.

12/08/2024: Des produits locaux de qualité des tarifs raisonnables et du personnel très aimable. Je recommande pour l'apéro un en cas ou un repas au calme.
14/07/2024: De bons produits locaux mais des prix exorbitants ! Une assiette 'auvergnate' avec 6 tranches de St nectaire et 6 tranches de saucisson pour 14€! Service correct ce qu'il ne faut pas louper c'est la vue !
