15/02/2026: Passing through the area...we had a really great time in this restaurant on Valentine's Day...the welcome was top-notch...the food was superb...the prices were reasonable...we will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again!

They replaced my truffle risotto with sole with pasta with so-called pesto for the same price, and when I pointed out that this wasn't what was listed on the menu, they initially told me I was mistaken. They simply didn't charge me for my spritz to compensate... I didn't
15/02/2026: Came into Port-Vendres for the last 3 days of our vacation. Cold rainy weather had us run into the closest restaurant to escape. Fortunately it was La Tramontane! Food and service were excellent! We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day for Valentines dinner. Pâté and Carpaccio St Jacques for appetizers, and the sole and entrecôte for mains. Outstanding meals! Might end up there tonight🤷♂️

A pleasant surprise upon arrival: we were upgraded to a spacious and functional room with a balcony and sea view!
Dinner at the hotel restaurant was absolutely superb, and the breakfast was very generous!
The room was spotlessly clean!!

13/02/2026: Excellent value for money! The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and the staff are always friendly. You can tell the chef takes care in his cooking: even at lunchtime, nothing is rushed. It's always a pleasure to have lunch here.

22/09/2025: The red mullet on the menu was perfect. The setting of Paulille Bay adds to the overall ambiance. Meals were taken on the terrace right next to the beach with a direct view of the sea. Friendly staff. The dining room could use a little updating, but it wouldn't affect the service. The parking lot is often full; park near the shops.

20/11/2025: I love this little spot right off the main road ;)), with a view of the harbor. Here you meet real people, it's not a tourist trap, no frills, just raw and authentic. I've been coming here for years to drink my coffee—or several—and the food, especially the tapas, is definitely worth the trip.

16/08/2024: Nice setting, the dishes are good. Offers fish from the day's catch. The red tuna steak and its banyuls caramel were delicious. The same goes for chicken a la gallega :).

02/11/2023: Blah blah blah, the menu is the number of people who ate my trap, usually I always look at the reviews on Google and the length of the menu to decide. When I saw chocolate mousse on the menu, poor me I thought it was the worst of my life. Of course it was the end of September and therefore fewer staff but at this point 🥇. What to say about the burger, the promise was tempting but what a disappointment the bread was super soft and very good but the rest, the meat much overcooked (maybe ask for cooking) a little bit of cheese, a little sauce, a slice of tomato. I always avoid putting too negative opinions because I have more than 20 years of cooking behind me but wow
