27/08/2026: A truly warm and friendly welcome, excellent food, very good and quick service – we were just passing through the area, no regrets at all

24/07/2026: On a Friday evening at 8:30 pm, the service was a bit odd. We weren't offered the daily specials, the menu didn't include rosé, and instead we were offered a pitcher of wine. We ordered two cocktails at €10.50 each and didn't even get a peanut! The dishes were good, but seemed to be made with industrial-grade fries from McAin and industrial peppercorn sauce. But surprisingly, at 9:25 pm, someone came to us before we'd finished our main course to ask about desserts, as the cooks were leaving and you have to order them in advance. I've never seen anything like it! We were inside, but outside there were at least four cats, even climbing onto the chairs to beg for scraps. That's understandable, but perhaps some people don't want to eat with cats at the table.

17/10/2026: Avoid bone marrow at all costs!!! Disappointed by the quality and customer service. We ate at La Boucherie restaurant in Chaponnay. I ordered the bone marrow (which cost over €8), but the experience was very disappointing: despite the presence of two pieces of bone, there was practically nothing to eat inside. As proof, of the two toasted slices served with the dish, three-quarters of the bread was left due to the lack of toppings. And what little I did eat on the toast was only topped with a few crumbs of marrow. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he initially admitted that they were having a supply problem at the moment and offered to bring me some more. He then backtracked, explaining that the two bones I was served were precisely to compensate for the lack of marrow... Despite my repeated complaint at the checkout, I received no compensation. It's a shame for a company specializing in meat. I don't usually post negative reviews, but this is too much and deserves it.

11/09/2026: We have been coming here for fifteen years on our way to the South of France, and we highly recommend it.

30/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, superb and very tender meat, especially the "kookal," and a very friendly waitress. The gourmet coffee was very generous! Come and taste and enjoy!
