31/07/2026: This restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The welcome is very warm, the staff is friendly, and the menu is incredibly tempting. The appetizers are really good! As for the main courses—hanger steak, octopus—I decided on the scallops! The sauce is delicious. 👏 I'll definitely be back for the hanger steak with St. Marcelin sauce. 😊

A friendly atmosphere, a relaxed yet professional ambiance, generous and well-prepared dishes. 07/08/2026: Avoid this place! We ordered five all-you-can-eat mussels and fries, and we couldn't even get our plates for everyone at the start of service. There was no advance notice regarding the cooking time for the mussels, and we had to wait 20 minutes between each plate. The staff were rushing through the place during the peak service hours. I do not recommend it.

28/07/2026: A delicious crêpe with strawberry coulis and a scoop of strawberry ice cream. The single-scoop cone is a real treat for only €1.70. We tried the chocolate hazelnut, vanilla, strawberry, raspberry, pistachio, and nougat flavors all summer long. They're all very good, and the cone's biscuit is also a triumph! Delicious and a calm atmosphere around 11:00 AM and again around 5:00 PM before it gets crowded. You can also go in the evening around 7:00 PM. The atmosphere is family-friendly. The service is attentive and welcoming.

01/06/2026: A huge thank you for this wonderful experience! We came about a month ago for my girlfriend's birthday, and we were absolutely delighted with the welcome and service. I had simply requested a small romantic upgrade for our room, without expecting anything in particular… and what a wonderful surprise it was when we arrived! The room was beautifully decorated with rose petals everywhere, lovely decorations on the towels, macarons, fruit juices, lots of little touches, and a personalized welcome note. All of this was offered free of charge, which touched us deeply. A huge thank you for your kindness, your professionalism, and all the thoughtful touches that made this moment even more special and unforgettable. The welcome was perfect, and everyone there was lovely. We will definitely be back!

03/05/2026: My review of this accommodation is based solely on the location and the room, as we neither ate at the restaurant nor had breakfast. The place itself is beautiful and exudes serenity. We returned from our evening out shortly after midnight (we had checked in beforehand), and we couldn't get in. We called reception, but it was closed, and the 24/7 emergency number didn't work either. Finally, we were able to enter the building through the back; the sliding doors worked without a card or code. The room is spacious, quite well laid out, and very clean, but the bed creaked loudly, and there was a very strong (almost nauseating) smell of sewage in the bathroom, especially in the morning. What a shame…

It feels like a real haven, designed as a living space, somewhere between a shop, a tea room, and a place for socializing. It's a pleasant, inspiring spot, perfect for finding great ideas. 16/08/2026: Incomplete order on 4 occasions

15/08/2026: The wait to order was way too long, over 15 minutes!! The staff were incredibly unfriendly and unkempt, plus the meals were more expensive than elsewhere!! Go to the McDonald's in Tassin on the Route de Paris; they're much friendlier and more welcoming than the others! For us, Francheville is finished! Sincerely

01/09/2024: Lorsque que l'on voit les photos des plats sur le site çà donne très envie de les déguster.Malheuresement nous avons été déçu carte restreinte. Il nous a fallu trois couteaux pour en venir à bout de la hampe qui avait beaucoup de nerfs à aucun moment il nous a été proposé de la remplacer. Nous avons apprécié le pâté fait maison servi avec quelques tranches de baguettes de pain et afin de continuer notre dégustation nous avons demandé une deuxième panière est le pain n'était pas frais. Nous avons trouvé le personnel très agréable et souriant.

24/07/2024: Quatrième visite au Tabagnon. Pour des Canadiens c’est quand même une marque de confiance ! Toujours le même service impeccable. Ces jeunes sont polis, appliqués, sympathiques et professionnels. Bravo. La cuisine était satisfaisante. Peut-être moins spectaculaire que les dernières fois. Le pâté en croûte était bon mais pas exceptionnel. Le lieu, poisson blanc, était très bon dans un duo de sauces agréable, mais la portion n’était pas généreuse. Le convive qui a pris la salade avec tomates ananas et tuiles de fromage a trouvé qu’il y avait trop de verdure et que la présentation aurait pu être plus invitante. La charlotte aux poires était bonne mais pas extraordinaire. Le Bandol rosé était trop fort et le vin corse moyen. Ceci dit, la saucisse a été appréciée tout comme la daurade. Nous reviendrons car nous sommes toujours bien reçus et que la qualité est somme toute bonne mais on tenait à exprimer les réserves ci-dessus.
