Perfect in every way.
13/01/2026: Having stayed at this hotel this summer, my nights in this (more like a closet) ground-floor room for several days were disastrous for a 3-star hotel. This room overlooked the road, the terrace (clattering cutlery, laughter, loud conversations, etc.), and a parking lot where some outsiders, fueled by alcohol, seem to think they have the place to themselves. Add to that the fact that the €15 breakfast is unjustified, and I conclude it's highway robbery! My advice: avoid this place!

18/10/2025: A restaurant with top-notch service. I only stopped in Montceau for my connecting flight and was looking for somewhere to eat.
The pan-fried foie gras is excellent, as are the veal and dessert.
The wait staff is very attentive to everyone, which is very pleasant.
I highly recommend this establishment; I'll definitely return with friends again!
12/09/2025: Excellent food. We had the Marmiton menu. Starter, main course, cheese, and dessert. Delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. Stylish ambiance.

A truly warm place where you feel at ease from the very first moment. The decor is refined and elegant, with a truly cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The tea room is calm and pleasant, perfect for chatting, relaxing, or simply enjoying the moment. You feel comfortable there, almost like at home, with that little something extra that makes you want to come back.
You go in out of curiosity, and you leave wanting to return very soon.

26/01/2026: I'm fed up with order mistakes. Either they forget something, or the sandwich arrives with a piece missing, or it's not even our order. It's annoying, and even more so when they don't answer the phone even though the restaurant is empty. It's easy for them to blame it, but we're the ones paying.

30/06/2025: I arrived. Five people were there, one behind the cash register eating, and the woman serving was chatting with colleagues behind the counter instead of serving customers. A disgrace. Change jobs or change managers who don't train employees.
14/06/2025: We bought a strawberry tart and when it came to dessert it was really not good, completely burnt... a disgrace...

Warning to all tourists. Here you are excluded!
21/09/2024: We stayed at the Hotel Konine for one night while traveling through. The room was modern, clean and the bed was of very high quality. The breakfast was delicious and varied.
Unfortunately, the window of our car was smashed during the night and all of our luggage, including motorcycle helmets, etc., was stolen. Unfortunately, we didn't get the support we wanted from reception when it came to informing the police and it seemed like this was a normal situation at this hotel.
Since we weren't the only car in the hotel parking lot that was broken into that night, we, and other people affected, would have hoped for a little more support, as communication in English/French was rather difficult.

09/10/2024: Le service est rapide, avec des serveuses très agréables, rien à dire de ce côté là. La cuisine quant à elle manque de qualité. Le plat du jour contenait du poisson surgelé et deux cuillères de riz. Quand au dessert, une gauffre à peine rechauffée avec une cuillère à café de Chantilly . Le verre de vin à 8 euros n'est pas à la hauteur de son prix. Bref pour 25 euros l'ensemble, vous avez un repas de self.

24/11/2024: Aucune fausse note pour notre dîner. Un accueil très chaleureux, une salle de restaurant intimiste à l'ambiance feutrée, un maître d'hôtel très professionnel à l'écoute des clients, des plats exceptionnels cuisinés avec des produits haut de gamme, d'excellents vins et champagne. Le chef mérite vraiment la meilleure note.
