12/03/2024: Earlier restaurant good overall, but a few things are wrong. When we want to order, we wanted the daily specials, but not enough daily specials, we obviously take the last one, a little later, we hear that the waitress is offering a daily special at the back table. In addition, when my dish was brought to me, some of the fries ended up on my pants, the waitress said to me "I'll bring you something else", fortunately I didn't wait for her, she didn't never came back... And finally, when it's time to pay, the passage is not wide, the waitress wants to pass, instead of asking normally, she has to raise her voice and even allow herself to say "we can't work quietly.” It's still unfortunate, without the last intervention, we will surely have come back but obviously we must have been embarrassed. It’s all the sadder because when we work with the client, the goal is to bring them back, not run away.

superb Savoyard farm renovated with great taste
impeccable welcome (we were upgraded without asking!)
room (no 2) magnificent on one level with very beautiful terrace
the heated outdoor swimming pool in February
plus hammam jacuzzi and sauna in short the best!
and what about the restaurant
a superb dinner with a lovely wine pairing
The breakfast at the top!

11/03/2024: Passing through Hauteluce on Saturday March 9. After being refused in another restaurant a little further down. Seven people arrived at Gaylord at 2:30 p.m. after a 12-hour drive. We were greeted by the manager with a smile. The staff is very welcoming. And the menus are excellent. I particularly recommend the burger and fries. A warm atmosphere where you feel really good. We came back on Monday evening for an aperitif and Friday evening at 9 p.m. to eat. Really a great place to have a good time.
If we come back to Hauteluce, we will not hesitate to return there.
Happy end of the season to the team and we look forward to seeing you again.

09/03/2024: The porcini mushroom fondue was succulent and generous with beautiful pieces of porcini mushrooms and full of flavor. Family and relaxed atmosphere. We spent a very pleasant evening !

10/02/2024: Obliged to leave 1 star to leave a comment... shameful! My husband and I order a caramel crepe... I'm still looking for caramel. When the waiter asked me if everything went well, I told him honestly that I was not satisfied because the crepe was raw... the glass was dirty... 7€ per crepe good... the waiter told me to talk to the boss about it, which I do and discreetly because we are locals and are used to coming to this restaurant... the boss plays her head in the sand and doesn't even raise her head... the waiter comes out and tells me to make my way?! Respect customers, that’s a minimum! Because when you no longer have tourists, there will still be people from the valley like us!!! In any case we won't come back again

09/04/2024: The best Bar/Restaurant in the Contamines MontJoie - Hauteluce ski area.
This is the last authentic and non-tourist trap restaurant in the resort, you will find excellent cuisine, with good dishes typical of the region, with excellent value for money.
The atmosphere is great and perfect, if you are a person who wants to enjoy, eat well and drink well then you are in the right place!
Start your lunch by going to the bar for an aperitif with the boss, if you are at least educated, and with respect, you will be well received, then continue the meal by warming yourself by the fire in a back restaurant room , and to finish with the digestive coffee!
At the end of the season, you can also enjoy a large sunny terrace, and it feels really good!
Only positives at the Taverne de Belleville,
The owners, the waiters, and the cook are very efficient, everything is perfect
We eat well there, we drink well there, we are happy
Can’t wait for the winter season to start again!
24/02/2024: A beautiful place to eat between two slopes, at the entrance to the beautiful Beaufortain valley! Here, everything is authentic, no fuss or fuss. The cuisine is varied and more than good, and above all with more than fair prices! I challenge you to eat as well in the city for these prices... It is advisable to reserve, the "problem" of homemade and a restaurant on a human scale: when there's more, there's more !

07/01/2024: Superb address both in summer and winter, with lots of pretty decorations and good things to snack on. It feels like home 🌸

Amazing €5 for Coca-Cola.
I asked for the ticket and they gave me a paper with:

2x2.5€
Put by hand in the machine. Surely it was because I was a tourist.
