12/12/2025: A painful memory of this resort on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2006: the municipal police impounded my car, which was parked on the sidewalk. I admit it, but I had made sure it wasn't obstructing anyone. The parking lots were full. Nearby, some badly parked vehicles weren't ticketed. I've never returned to this "upscale" resort, where, among others, many Russians and Americans stay. I advise my acquaintances and friends to go to much nicer and more authentic places, like Serre-Chevalier, for example...

26/11/2025: I’ve been to Méribel few times but last season 24/25 the prices seem to skyrocket and the overall experience felt noticeably worse. Much of the accommodation is very outdated, the apartments weren’t properly cleaned and basic essentials like bed sheets weren’t provided. When you pay EUR 300 per night it’s a joke ! It often felt as though we were being overcharged without receiving any real service in return. The resorts are so crowded that they don’t seem to care. Nowhere else in Europe anything like this exists. In December 2024, when we arrived to start our ski trip, the ticketing system was down. After queuing for an hour and a half, we were finally allowed to ski and told we could buy our passes later once the system was running again. A couple of days after that, the Solaise lift also had an issue, leading to massive queues and many frustrating skiers. It’s a beautiful resort, but unfortunately, it feels like the overall quality of service is deteriorating.

05/07/2025: We had a great time. The Swiss raclette was delicious and very flavorful, we loved it! A little light on the charcuterie, but you can add extra if you want. Excellent service, I highly recommend it.

06/06/2025: I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. My friends had a fondue that was divine, and three of us had a reblochonnade that had no flavor and left us extremely disappointed. So I'm sticking with an average rating of 3/5. Visited in February 2025.

12/01/2026: Favourite restaurant. Good food, service and apre ski

14/08/2025: It's extremely difficult to make a reservation: the landline number goes to a mobile number that records messages and never calls back. When you call the mobile number, you get a live speaker who takes your reservation. But once you arrive, there's no sign of your reservation! So we're seated at a table halfway between the sun and halfway between the shade, which is difficult these days. Then we wait a very long time for a waitress to come and take our order. As a customer for 12 years, I'm very disappointed this time. Clearly, the staff doesn't take the extra care of their customers.

14/01/2026: Superb mountain restaurant, top-notch staff and what can I say about the meal which was excellent.

30/12/2025: A great mountain restaurant offering hearty and delicious dishes. We enjoyed the ham hock with its delicious fries, the vegetable stir-fry (thank you for thinking of the vegetarians 😁), the spaghetti, and the burgers. There were six of us, and the whole family loved it. The tray service is convenient and very quick. There was a bit of a wait to get a table at lunchtime, which is normal. The Génépi liqueur and the Viennese hot chocolate were also delicious.

15/01/2026: The atmosphere is homey and the food is delicious. We ordered the Sancerre wine, mushroom risotto, beef, duck and cheese hot pot, and all were beyond expectations. Highly recommend!

11/01/2026: Delicious french cuisine served in a cosy atmosphere with wonderful staff. What else could you want?!?

03/01/2026: We came for the beef, but they're bothered by the fact that they cook it to the customer's liking; they think it takes too long, even though we're on vacation and have the time. Two rooms, two different atmospheres, unfortunately, the service isn't the same for all customers. Strangely enough, once you spend money, the smiles appear! The fondue was good but cloyingly salty by the end. You need to reserve a table to get a good one, otherwise you're in a draft and right in the middle of the servers' walkways.

20/08/2025: This is the best place in the valley, attentive and passionate service as ever - we would all like to keep this as our own secret - but it’s out there now!! The whole menu is great!!

06/01/2026: AMAZING! We were late seating in a full restaurant and they were helpful, friendly, food was amazing - we went for crepes and a salad which were all heavenly! We tried to go back again for dessert but were too late
