05/04/2024: I have eaten at the restaurant twice this season…. Don’t be confused on a ski by to believe that it is just a huge terrace with snack bar for seasonairs or après ski venue (which is excellent of course), but the restaurant at the reserved end of the terrace nearest to the chalet is fantastic…. Food and service is great… menu is not massive but extensive enough and perfectly executed…. It offers bigger portions at better prices and to my tastes better and better presented and tastier than its more vaunted neighbour in the other side of the road…. This is one of the most practically placed, sunny terraces benefitting from being easily accessible from beginner slopes at the Altiport and harder slopes of Saulire and also road (and bus access)…. The inside is comfortable if the weather is bad… And I’d you hang around until 4.30 it has some of the best après in the French Alps… Great to see this iconic venue of MERIBEL refinding it’s old glory of former days

26/03/2024: Always a good time here. Excellent bands and music. Not eaten here but drank plenty. Highly recommend the toffee vodka!

09/02/2024: Ce restaurant de piste est notre coup de cœur encore cette année : pour sa cuisine (plats du jour, tarte aux myrtilles et sa crème pâtissière à la lavande), pour son personnel au petit soin 👍

28/12/2023: Nourriture de très mauvaise qualité payée chère Avis laisse pour le snack du restaurant Croque surgelé, frites surgelées farineuses C’est ce qu’on trouvait sur les pistes il y a 20 ans il faudrait se mettre au goût du jour

23/03/2026: An absolutely magical experience ✨ Le Refuge de la Traye has truly rekindled my love for the mountains… I fell in love with it. The snowshoe hikes with breathtaking views will stay with me for a long time. The staff is exceptional—professional, attentive, and lovely. Special mention for the cuisine: a talented chef, remarkable culinary quality, and on top of that, fantastic cooking classes! The spa is superb, and the massages are pure relaxation. A unique place where everything is in place to recharge. I can't wait to come back this summer ☀️

22/08/2024: Very friendly little store which offers good local products: cold meats, cheeses, alcohol, jams... and souvenir gifts from your holidays. The welcome is very pleasant, the preparations: raclettes, fondues are excellent and in good quantity with equipment ready to spend a pleasant evening with the family after a good hike! the address can only be recommended!

15/09/2024: De l’accueil à la table, de la perfection et de la bienveillance. Une cuisine fraîche, savoureuse et très copieuse. Que ce soit les plats locaux, autant que les plats thaïlandais, de la présentation, de la saveur et du professionnalisme. C’était une première expérience, nous y retournerons par gourmandise !! N’hésitez surtout pas à découvrir cette merveilleuse table dans ce si joli village plein d’authenticité. Merci à vous pour ce si beau et bon moment.

16/04/2024: Excellent Bar in Méribel Village with British vibes, lovely & friendly staff. Just in front of the pist, so relax to take a drink in afternoon

24/03/2024: A stop of on the way to the French Alps. Very comfortable and agreeable stay. The hosts are super friendly and the breakfast is all homemade or local produce. We would not hesitate to stay again. 3.5 hours from Calais and 5.5 to Méribel. Ideal. Also great local restaurants that they can advise upon if not eating in. Do go and stay, it’s lovely.

12/09/2024: Très bon burgers et frites, qualité, quantité, accueil très agréable, bon rapport qualité prix, jamais manger de burger aussi bon avec des grosses baguettes pour le pain très originale, je recommande à 100%, merci.

15/04/2024: Simply the best burgers anywhere….and the best home cut chips too…. Plus amazing prices… Yes it’s a take out counter and it’s a real shame that they don’t have any space to create their own terrace but why not have them wrap your burger and take it up to one of the lovely picnic spots on the mountain
