From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional warmth and kindness. The owners are incredibly friendly, attentive, and passionate about what they do, making the experience even more enjoyable.
As for the food, it's simply divine: flavorful, generous dishes, carefully prepared to showcase high-quality ingredients. Every bite is a delight!
Between the friendly atmosphere, impeccable service, and delicious cuisine, this is a place I wholeheartedly recommend. A place where you feel right at home… but even better.

07/12/2025: It took a very long time to get our order; we left before we could even have a coffee.
01/11/2025: A pseudo-trendy restaurant. Predominantly full of show-offs. A bit tacky. They fill your plate with the powder from their sparklers. And a DJ who only plays a 70s/80s playlist.
Not a repeat. Avoid it. It's not worth the price.

The food was delicious and the sunny terrace was perfect 🤩
19/03/2026: The computerized reservation system is malfunctioning; our reservation wasn't registered despite the payment being processed.
Apparently, the servers are aware of the problem, but the person who took our payment didn't offer a single apology… he was very pleased with his full terrace and didn't seem to care about this issue, which could potentially harm his business.

Outrageous value for money.
The fondue was very runny... and let's not even mention the "Grandma with kirsch," which was practically empty. The brazier is not recommended and far too expensive. There's no dessert menu.
The only positive aspect is its location in the Creux de l'Ours.

04/04/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! The staff is awful, uneducated, and doesn't even say hello or thank you. The food is disgusting. You'll be treated like dogs.
03/04/2026: Absolutely avoid this place. The pizzas, the Savoyard fondue, the cheeseburger, and the steak tartare are a complete rip-off and a total lack of respect. None of the dishes are cooked; I'm almost certain that everything on the menu is frozen and/or vacuum-packed. I don't usually post reviews, but I just had to say this: I'm disgusted that I was ripped off like this. Even the soft drinks are dispensed from a vending machine, without even a can or a bottle. And what about the fries, which must have been fried in extremely old oil—you really have to be trying to mess up frozen fries. This restaurant deserves only one thing: to be shut down.

27/02/2026: We went to this bar/restaurant for a waffle and a drink, and the prices were outrageous! Even a bottle of champagne would be cheaper per liter than a Coke. We arrived around 3:30-4:00 PM, and the waffles were already sold out. It's truly shameful, especially at teatime. So we only ordered two drinks, and when we were leaving, we asked for water, only to be told they had bottled water (even though there was a tap right in front of us). It's all about the money; I strongly advise against going there!

The restaurant is well located with a fast and well-stocked self-service area. The selection is good.

29/05/2024: +ve Amazing place the music, dancing and atmosphere is super.
-ve We were in the vip area, and we paid a lot. However, unnecessary cheating in our bill, they add 100 euro charge for the power bank that they put on the table and we didn't ask for, it was a shame, I was there many times this is the 1st time, I was scamed.
14/05/2024: Probably the most disrespectful experience of my life. Showed up on 3/31/2024 and were met with a horrible experience, including:
1. Having the staff stand behind the bar and almost refuse to serve us, despite being open
2. Pretending to not speak English (you are a bartender at Folie Douce…)
3. Refusing to get the shot ski when requested because it is “too far away”
4. Cheering us out of the establishment when we left
Made a lot to effort to make it to the bar and was disgusted with the treatment. What a joke.
UPDATE: Email to their team was ignored entirely, took no responsability for the poor treatment of me and my friends.

04/04/2024: We couldn’t get into three of the restaurants further up the road, but La Flambee had lots of empty tables. Perhaps that tells you something. Anyway, we were persuaded by the lovely open wood fired pizza oven. What a mistake. I ordered the “tonnarelli a la sauce tomate guancialle”. It arrived incredibly quickly. The tonnarelli was very under-cooked and very hard to bite through. There was hardly any meat: it was gristly and chewy. A very poor meal. My wife had a pizza. Soggy bottom and the “toppings” placed in piles rather than spread over the pizza: she had to rearrange them. Against my better judgment I also ordered a tirimasu. It was not very nice at all; a nasty mousse poured over some stale biscuit. I have had much better tiramisu from my local supermarket. We had a good bottle of Valipolicello. I mentioned to the waitress that the tonnarelli was not cooked properly. No apology, no recompense. If you can get in anywhere else, I would recommend that you do NOT go to this restaurant.

14/04/2024: We visited one evening for desert and wine. The place was very busy and service slow. The crepes we ordered came burnt and considering the price (some are up to €15) we would not visit again.
12/03/2024: We chose this place based on the good reviews. We loved the raclette. The best we've had so far. We're going back again.before our ski vacation ends. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

25/03/2024: Quelle bonne surprise ! Vendredi après-midi , alors que beaucoup de restaurants étaient déjà complets, nous avons pu réserver.
Si la salle du haut n’est pas très engageante, nous avons découvert une très belle salle en bas (demander celle du fond), avec de l’espace. Super!
Ensuite, service super agréable et attentionné par Celia (bravo).
Pas de stress, nous avons le temps de déguster notre bonne fondue aux cèpes. Oui, c’est une pizzeria, mais la carte est large!
Puis choix de la coupe Montagne aux myrtilles arrosées (alcool blanc très - trop? - fort qui a tendance à masquer le goût, c’est un peu dommage).
Voilà. Belle découverte, même si ce n’est pas de la haute gastronomie, à un prix correct pour Méribel.

22/08/2024: Si vous aimez le bruit, les enfants par dizaines qui courent en criant autour de votre table alors je recommande.
Aucune alerte à la réservation comme quoi il y avait une table de vingt adultes avec une dizaine d enfants on est restés environ trente mn chrono en main, dommage c était pour l anniversaire de notre fils, soirée gâchée on est repartis avec le gâteau d anniversaire qu il fallait amener
06/08/2024: Nous avons pris une raclette pour deux personnes entre parenthèses fromage suisse, juste une tuerie!!! L’accueil parfait, des conseils donnés pour visiter la région parfait l’ambiance est chaleureuse, dynamique et surtout très très sympathique. Nous avons adoré ce restaurant, la qualité de la charcuterie du fromage jusqu’à la salade était parfaite. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés, ce restaurant et en garderons, un très très bon souvenir, merci aux jumelles pour leur accueil et leur service de qualité !!! Bravo!!!❤️ pour deux personnes avec deux pichets de vin, plus les digestifs et deux raclettes, nous en avons eu pour moins de 100 €. Rare sur Méribel!!!
