13/05/2024: Very nice restaurant with good food! Friendly service and some surprising things on the menu. Different than most restaurants at that altitude. Poke Bowl, well-filled salads…. Very tasty! Lovely terrace, full glass of rosé, great!

13/12/2024: Very good fondue...incredible, the staff is friendly and pleasant. The dessert was excellent (François had the best tits...) Thank you Julie, leaving the pharmacy feels good.

27/01/2025: The big issue I have with the Bernard is that you make a reservation, arrive on time, and are then you are left standing outside in the cold for 10 mins while they figure how to seat you. This didn't just happen to us but several others at the 2pm. They didn't offer us a seat somewhere. It starts the whole lunch off really badly. You're cold, hungry, and do not feel very welcome. In the end, the food was good but the start really made for a poor experience.

03/04/2024: Very friendly and warm welcome, but our room was a little dated and the lighting and sockets are not really up to standard. Another subject, the brasserie l'Authentique where we dined with again very friendly service, served us a Savoyard fondue - more expensive than anywhere else - which must undoubtedly have been a sachet fondue from the mass market because, being Savoyard, I know how to recognize a real fondue from a ready-made one; we had the opportunity to taste another one near the hotel which had nothing to do - fortunately - with that of l'Authentique. To accompany it, we took a Chignin, unfortunately an uninteresting cooperative wine but charged €41 when two restaurants in Méribel and Mottaret offered us a Chignin from André Quénard which was an aromatic marvel at a price of €27 and €31. I imagine that most foreigners don't notice anything but I find that it harms the image of MontVallon. That being said, I would not hesitate to return to the hotel which is really very pleasant and so well located. Thank you to the whole team for their welcome and see you soon I hope. 31/03/2024: Ideally located for ski in / ski out. Staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Rooms could use an upgrade (bathrooms and lighting).

23/03/2024: Probably best to order a take away from here instead of eating in. Great pizza, highly recommend them but a basic level of service is something to be desired. Quite rude as though it is an inconvenience to have customers, we observed this with other tables as well. Be prepared.

22/03/2024: A Dr. Oetker pizza would have done the trick given the quality of the dough, the lack of toppings and their appearance.

29/05/2024: +ve Amazing place the music, dancing and atmosphere is super. -ve We were in the vip area, and we paid a lot. However, unnecessary cheating in our bill, they add 100 euro charge for the power bank that they put on the table and we didn't ask for, it was a shame, I was there many times this is the 1st time, I was scamed.

14/05/2024: Probably the most disrespectful experience of my life. Showed up on 3/31/2024 and were met with a horrible experience, including: 1. Having the staff stand behind the bar and almost refuse to serve us, despite being open 2. Pretending to not speak English (you are a bartender at Folie Douce…) 3. Refusing to get the shot ski when requested because it is “too far away” 4. Cheering us out of the establishment when we left Made a lot to effort to make it to the bar and was disgusted with the treatment. What a joke. UPDATE: Email to their team was ignored entirely, took no responsability for the poor treatment of me and my friends.

28/08/2024: Dîner à quatre en famille avec Reservations, nous avons été placés tout de suite à l’arrivée. Le cadre est très agréable déco très sympathique mais ça on s’y attendait après avoir vu les photos sur Internet. C’était le dernier jour de service pour l’été. Ils allaient fermer jusqu’à la saison d’hiver mais ils ont au moins le mérite d’avoir ouvert pendant le mois d’août. C’est déjà pas mal. Il y avait donc un petit peu moins de choix sur la carte mais tout le monde a trouvé son bonheur. Évidemment, l’addiction est un peu salé, mais c’est en rapport avec l’emplacement qui est parfait dans la station et la réputation du lieu. Bref, ça vaut quand même le détour.

24/08/2024: Hello, place that we know well, unmissable in the evening or in case of rain, at the end of the afternoon (opens at 4 p.m.) 8 tracks, billiards arcade games, cool atmosphere, snacy and drinks. I recommend++ to have a good time.

04/04/2024: Waitress was bolshy. Nobody was very attentive. Waitress left after only letting us order 2 starters, she couldn’t understand that we wanted to order main courses as well! Had to find someone else to help.

23/08/2024: The best Burger of my life!, with lots of flavors, soft bread, and fries, I don't usually eat a lot! , there I finished my plate!, where it stings is when the prices of the drinks! 🙄!
