21/03/2026: A very nice place for skiing in March. We arrived after a snowfall. However, not all the trails were groomed, and not all the trails were groomed daily.
18/03/2026: Beautiful area, good shops, good restaurants, lots of things to do on site. Shuttle service available, plenty of trails for snowshoeing or skiing, I highly recommend it.

20/01/2026: Fantastic place! The first place we set foot in upon arriving in Valfrejus, and we have absolutely no regrets! We've returned on other days when they had events going on, and it's always been a wonderful experience. Don't hesitate to take advantage of the spa as well; it's incredibly relaxing after a day of skiing! The staff are always welcoming and friendly, thank you! 🥰

22/12/2025: I came for dinner one evening during the week, my first time at this restaurant. The waitress was incredibly friendly. I chose the ribeye steak and it was delicious! I'll definitely be back to try the tartiflette! Quite a few plates went by and they all looked very tempting. See you soon! 😊

22/03/2026: We ate there twice, the pizza chef is excellent. We weren't planning on ordering pizza, but it was a very pleasant surprise! The desserts are good too.
The self-service system isn't very welcoming, but frankly, we weren't disappointed with anything else. A very pleasant surprise.
14/03/2026: The La Bergerie mountain restaurant in Valfréjus boasts a lovely location, and the place itself is pleasant. It could be a truly fantastic spot for a break in the mountains.
Unfortunately, the major drawback is clearly the service, especially at the bar. A particularly unpleasant young waitress, without a smile and unfriendly, made us feel like we were bothering her when ordering. The waiter, for his part, was impressively slow.
The result: phenomenally long wait times at the bar, which completely ruined the experience.
We especially get the feeling that they're taking advantage of being the only restaurant at this altitude, which means customers don't really have any alternatives.
It's a shame, because with decent service, the place could be truly enjoyable. But as it stands, the welcome and service don't even deserve one star.

07/03/2026: Clean, spacious restaurant (tables aren't crammed together). The dishes, pizzas, etc., are generous and genuinely good. Very reasonable prices. Service is a bit slow and the dining room decor is simple. Don't hesitate to stop by for lunch and/or dinner 👍

13/03/2026: Homemade pizza / homemade dough kneaded right before our eyes by a real Italian chef, the pizzeria manager is very friendly and open to conversation, great Italian music – what more can I say? A truly enriching culinary experience. Every ingredient on the pizza has its own distinct flavor. I highly recommend it. See you soon!
12/03/2026: Heads up, the owner has changed. It's now Cœur de Pizza and it's better. Fresh ingredients, hand-shaped pizzas, and very friendly staff.

22/06/2024: Hotel to absolutely avoid! I ended up in this hotel by default due to an unforeseen event. As soon as I enter, a nauseating smell hits my nose, a mixture of bad cooking and mold.
The hotel is not soundproofed at all, it's a real nightmare. We can hear the neighbors as if they were in the same room. If your neighbor snores, watches TV in the middle of the night or goes to the bathroom, you will feel like you are sharing these intimate moments.
As for the boss, in addition to being unpleasant, she claimed that my card payment had not gone through due to a sudden breakdown of her bank terminal... I had to pay in cash, only to discover the next day that my card had been charged. I had to object to the bank.
In summary, this hotel is to be avoided!

05/01/2024: Small boutique hotel near the station at Modane. The tartiflette in the restaurant was a revelation, a non pareil, nouriture des Dieux. Seriously, on a long trip to the Alps this one night stopover before hitting the slopes was an absolute delight. The food and wine delicious. Would happily recommend. 🙏😊

Perché in un croque monsieur ci trovo il cumino e una salsa viola troppo speziata, soprattutto per bambini: avevamo espressamente chiesto che loro non mangiassero speziato, perché non stanno bene. Cameriera unica nella sala, si eclissa se deve far pagare un tavolo. Attendiamo tanto per ordinare di nuovo. Riciclano cibi dal negozio BIO, io non ho visto gran qualità, nemmeno nel caffè in polvere.
