Pas d’accueil, carte très réduite rien à voir avec celle sur le site, cuisine trop grasse… quelle déception !
25/07/2024: Superbe resto comme on les aimes , de la viande de qualité travailler avec soin , des assiettes copieuses et un service rapide et efficace tenu par des commerçant humain et adorable
Nous en garderons un très bon souvenir
Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Johns Scandinavian Restaurant

23/04/2024: John's American and Scandinavian provided us with our half board option for our ski trip. Breakfast was an extensive cold selection with cereals, fruit, meat and cheese with various breads and boiled eggs. Dinner at the scandi side was 3 course from a set menu (Veg and fish options) and all very high quality in a nice atmosphere. At the Am side on the lower road, this was a more typical US selection, also very nice and with a noisier atmosphere to go with the food. Both were great and the service was friendly and quick. Highly recommended.
15/04/2024: I had a wonderful dining experience at Scandinavian Brasserie and Wine Bar in Val Thorens. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect after a long day on the slopes. The staff, especially Lea and Emma, were exceptionally welcoming and professional, ensuring a memorable evening. The Skagen Toast was absolutely phenomenal, bursting with flavor, and a must-try. Another standout was their homemade hot shot, a unique concoction that warms you right up. A visit here is a delightful blend of great food and heartwarming hospitality, making it a top recommendation for anyone in the area.

17/03/2024: This restaurant is so welcoming the staff are great and the food is even better. Every dish enjoyed by our group was excellent. Vegetarian food in VT is limited but some real effort had gone into the veggie burger and it was delicious. A must visit whilst in Val Thorens
01/03/2024: Cela fait des années que nous y venons et malgré la conjecture, ce restau reste fidèle à ses valeurs: IMPECCABLE !!
Serveurs sympas et très agréables!
De vraies frites!!! Un véritable steak dans le menu enfant !! Une belle fondue, un gratin de ravioles au top!!
Des solutions ont été proposées et trouvées pour notre végétarienne !
Bref… une très très bonne adresse à recommander

12/05/2024: Restaurant d'alitude à la fois chaleureux et convivial, avec une terrasse donnant sur les montagnes, la cuisine y est aussi succulente, et l'équipe est jeune et dynamique ! à refaire ! Carte variée, proposant à la fois des plats savoyards tradi, des plats du jour, etc
Gros plus pour le café gourmand avec la tarte myrtille ^^
12/04/2024: Super accueil, souriant, efficace. Patronne très sympa! Plats réconfortants et particulièrement un jour de mauvais temps avec en prime la présence du poêle qui réchauffe l’atmosphère et accessoirement nos vêtements! Je vous conseille le poulet savoyard et si vous voulez manger sainement mais être calé la salade césar.

01/04/2024: Overpriced burger
Terribly average and expensive crozet /vegetable dish - a scam at €32
Lamb shoulder - awful presentation; massively over salted. Just plain awful
But worst of all a refusal to provide freshly ground black pepper because apparently previous guests had made off with their pepper pots. Simple you idiots - just have the obstreperous and inflexible waiter bring the pepper to the table and grind it for the guest.
This was yet again another dreadful meal and a dreadful experience in a terribly misconceived restaurant. If only Caseblanche would send the Meilleurs back to Sant Marcel. La Bouitte is wonderful so why can’t they get the bistro right?

A lovely relaxed and welcoming environment
The dishes are stunning in there execution
Can’t believe the chef is only 22 years old
Having eaten at many Michelin restaurants over the years incl the fat duck and Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons I would choose this wonderful place over all of them.
It is just a jewel

21/03/2024: We had some lovely food and wine in this charming restaurant just above Les Menuires. We had two false starts trying to find it, which meant that we were 30 minutes late, but it was well worth the extra schlep and time!
