05/09/2026: Time passes, but the pleasure remains during this latest visit to Auberge du Bac. Everything is designed with the customer in mind: the setting, the welcome, and the dishes, which are both beautifully presented and delicious. Bravo and thank you to the entire team!

29/09/2026: Absolutely not recommended. The courses were a very adventurous combination, lacking any harmony whatsoever. We ordered the full six-course menu, but each course was far too generous, making it impossible to enjoy them. When we then asked them not to serve the cheese course and the second dessert, as the excessive portions and highly idiosyncratic composition of these dishes left us unable to eat another bite, we were still billed for the entire menu. When I asked why it wasn't possible to remove the uneaten courses (cheese and one dessert) and the accompanying wines from the bill, I was asked how they intended to do that. Quite simply: charge for only four courses instead of six. And also charge for the wine pairings for only four courses instead of six. This was deemed impossible, and so, unfortunately, this was the worst fine dining experience of my life. Especially since the courses that were served and eaten were far from harmonious and, above all, delicious. Nothing here fits together, except for the quality of the ingredients, which the chef unfortunately takes to absurd extremes, creating a flavor profile that I find deeply suspect. And the icing on the cake is the chef's unbelievably arrogant attitude; he probably thinks you're ignorant for supposedly not understanding his compositions, which are, sadly, almost inedibly bitter in every course. Unfortunately, the Michelin Guide didn't look too closely either. Not recommended. Stay away. At almost 300 euros, it's an absolute outrage.

28/09/2026: Reservation made on their website on Saturday for Sunday at 12:15 PM, with email confirmation. We arrived as a family on Sunday: no reservation, the restaurant was full! The owner apparently only sent a cancellation email on Sunday morning, about two hours before the meal. Very disappointing and unprofessional. A confirmed reservation should not be canceled at the last minute without ensuring the customer has been properly informed.
