22/02/2026: One star for a Michelin-starred restaurant A disastrous experience! The service was completely inadequate for a Michelin-starred establishment, making the whole experience very unpleasant. There were four of us, but we arrived two at a time and were seated at separate tables. It took us 20 minutes to realize we were all there, and the waiter simply said, "Oops, a little hiccup." The rest of the dinner was much the same: aperitifs were served very slowly, and our order was taken at the same time as the aperitif—you can't be expected to think. Mineral water was served like mint tea, and it was difficult to set the plates down properly. The time between courses was very long (we ate for four hours! Luckily, we only ordered the four-course menu and not the six-course one). Crumbs were poorly cleared. Empty glasses were left on the table. And there was this unpleasant feeling of being a nuisance to the service! This isn't how it's supposed to work. Service should be discreet. The sommelier's service was reminiscent of a neighborhood bar, completely out of sync with the dishes, and there was no explanation of what the wine paired with each course (one glass for both appetizers, which was a shame, as they'd have to know!). The wines served were unusual, perhaps too unusual? The food fared a little better, thankfully, although the bread was overcooked and not at all practical for the dishes served. We were disappointed by the John Dory, which was very salty. The appetizers and desserts, however, were very good and refined. In short, a very, very big disappointment, with no attempt at self-reflection from the staff and no attempt to compensate for the minor issues!

22/02/2026: We were disappointed by the service this time. Very little attention was paid, nothing like our previous experiences at this restaurant. We had to ask for water several times. We had ordered two bottles: one sparkling and one still, and they were still half full when we left.

04/04/2026: Excellent restaurant! We've been going there for lunch with colleagues for quite some time now. We always have a great time; the pizzas and other dishes are delicious and generous. The service is also pleasant.

02/04/2026: Pleasantly surprised. The pizzas were delicious and very generously topped. You can also tell the ingredients are of very high quality. We ordered a Nordic pizza and a Neapolitan pizza. The welcome was warm and the waitresses were very pleasant and attentive. We'll be back very soon to enjoy their lovely terrace ☺️

10/04/2026: Honestly, not good. The rice tasted sweet, and the crispy onion around the maki was soggy, a clear sign they weren't fresh. I should add that calling a platter of maki without soup or salad a "set menu" is misleading. Disappointed, as I'd been satisfied until now, I won't be ordering again.

05/04/2026: Attention sushi lovers: I've finally found THE gem in the Île-de-France region. Forget everything else. Special mention for their Tiger, which is simply amazing… the balance of textures is incredible. I've tried dozens, but this one is in a league of its own. Go for it without hesitation! 🐯🔥 The best, the very best!!! I LOVE YOU.

17/01/2026: The chef is fantastic; everything is delicious, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The service is also quick and always pleasant. It's a shame it's become so expensive lately: €17 for a bowl of Japanese rice made with simple, inexpensive ingredients. I don't go there as often anymore, which is a pity; it used to be my go-to lunch spot.

04/04/2026: You can get incredibly delicious food here at a great price. The service was also excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit! We had the tartiflette with ham and salad.

13/04/2026: For the price of a sweetcorn risotto, you can get a starter, main course, and dessert at Ben & Kei, a 10-minute walk away. The menu is the same, unimpressive, and very expensive for the quality of the food. A salad costs €19. The service isn't always up to par. For example, the waitress couldn't tell us what was in the foie gras salad and missed us for 10 minutes when we signaled for dessert.

25/03/2026: It was a Deliveroo order where I got a simple crispy sandwich. It was literally inedible; I couldn't finish it after one bite, I spat it all out. Plus, it arrived extremely cold. I don't know if it's the restaurant's fault, but I don't recommend it, sorry.

24/01/2026: Top-notch service and cuisine in this typical Montreuil neighbourhood bistro - the menu changes daily, the dishes are well-prepared (for meat lovers as well as vegetarians), and the manager is super friendly - whether for lunch or a drink, go for it!

21/02/2026: It had been almost six months since I'd last been to Decathlon Montreuil, and I was genuinely surprised—in a good way. The trail running and running section has clearly taken on a whole new dimension. You can feel the real effort put into the quality, the presentation, and the way the products are displayed. It's clearer, more coherent, and more engaging. You want to explore and try things out. What struck me most was the attention given to the customers. Not just a quick tip between aisles, but a real conversation. When you talk to someone who actually practices sports, who understands your needs, your doubts, your goals, it makes all the difference. In my case, Amaury gave me precise and relevant advice tailored to my sport. He guided my choices with appropriate suggestions, without being pushy, simply with passion and expertise. Thanks to him, I also discovered Decathlon's new product range—items I probably wouldn't have looked at otherwise. I sometimes had the impression that the brand was a bit behind the big chains, but today you can really feel a move upmarket. There's research, innovation. And it's becoming truly interesting. All this to say that I remain a loyal customer, and I left the Montreuil store with a smile—which isn't so common after a simple shopping trip. Okay… inner tubes are still a bit of an expense 😄 but that doesn't detract from the overall experience. Thanks to the team, and congratulations on this evolution.
