29/07/2024: Avoid Renting with Foncia Cavalaire sur Mer We rented an apartment through Foncia Cavalaire sur Mer in June 2024, and our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. This rental office was utterly unhelpful in addressing the issues we encountered before, during, and after our stay. To start, we struggled to reach anyone at the office to gain access to our apartment upon arrival. Once we finally entered, we found the apartment dirty, with bedding stained by body fluids—completely unacceptable. Our mornings were consistently ruined by construction works right next to our terrace, starting at 7:30 AM with loud drilling and grinding noises. When we raised this issue with the office, they flatly told us it wasn't their responsibility. After our holiday, the office claimed we hadn't paid a deposit. It took them a considerable amount of time to locate the payment, causing us undue stress and frustration. In summary, I strongly advise against renting through Foncia Cavalaire sur Mer. Their lack of professionalism and responsibility significantly marred our holiday experience. 23/07/2024 We want to inform you that we already submitted a complaint at the Foncia office in Cavalaire-sur-Mer during and after our vacation. Unfortunately, all our arguments were dismissed, and no action was taken regarding our complaint. Our reference is REF FR-1-226B-85.
