29/09/2026: The three of us stumbled upon this place after a day in Avignon. We were looking for somewhere to eat something simple. This is exactly what we were looking for: it's small, the decor is simple, and Roberto does everything: welcoming guests, cooking, and serving. And while the food is simple, it's very good, which is the main thing. And the icing on the cake is that it's inexpensive. Parking is difficult in the area.

19/09/2026: A truly great experience! A warm atmosphere, delicious pizzas, and impeccable service. For a solo traveler, hats off! I highly recommend it!

20/09/2026: Where have all the old waiters and waitresses gone? They were fantastic! I'm very disappointed with the new ones; orders weren't respected on site, and I get the impression the food is a bit lower quality. Be careful not to regress, because for me, you were number one in Avignon!

15/09/2026: I can confirm... it's the best pastry shop in Carpentras: the fraisier is the best I've ever tasted... and yet I travel a lot and have tried many others, but it's unsurpassed for its crispy topping. The rocher is to die for... But I should be speaking in the past tense since the pastry shop is closing permanently today, what a shame... Carpentras is losing yet another wonderful and high-quality place... just like Caramentran, with its unusual Christmas traditions. Best of luck to the team at L'envie des mets who delighted us.

13/07/2026: The menu doesn't offer many dishes, but it's sufficient, good, affordable, and tastes like home cooking. The waitresses/waitresses are friendly, and the owner is kind. I think this is going to become our go-to spot in Carpentras!

30/06/2026: One day delicious, one day average, then another truly awful, neither good nor fresh. It's hard to know what to expect. It's a shame because the reputation was built on this consistently superior quality. When you bought it, you knew you were in for a treat; that's no longer the case today, despite the prosperity. So, growth or croissants and other treats?

18/07/2026: I ordered pizzas for 10 PM, which is already late to eat, and I find out there's a delay of over 30 minutes with no compensation from them for this mistake.

02/06/2026: I called late to find out if they had a family room available for the night because we were desperately trying to find accommodation in Carpentras with two young children. After insisting, the receptionist twice used an extremely vulgar insult towards me before hanging up. I called back a few weeks later to report the incident to the manager (the hotel had been closed for the annual holidays), and I spoke to another receptionist who told me that I should not have called so late and did not apologize for the insults. Unbelievable.
