07/12/2025: We spent 14 days in this beautiful region. Approximately 24 meals. My favorite. Why? The exceptional setting; the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes, the flavors of the food, the service, the wine list, and as a bonus, we had a visit from the chef and owner who took the time at the end of our meal to chat with us. Very friendly. Wonderful memory. If I could give it a 6, I would.
15/10/2025: We had a wonderful evening at Restaurant Les Saveurs Gourmandes. The food and wine were excellent and we were very well attended to. It was a celebratory meal for 6 and I heartily recommend visiting.

The meal was delicious and the service very warm and welcoming.
This is a place to remember.
15/11/2025: I didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food (however, from what I heard, it sounded delicious). On the other hand, the staff is exceptionally friendly, a rare quality these days. I came to Menerbes to visit the town, and I happened to walk in and received a warm welcome. Even though reservations are recommended, they gave me a table on the terrace to enjoy the incredible view! A must-visit for anyone passing through Menerbes!

14/11/2025: My husband and I weren't lucky enough to stay at the hotel as it was fully booked (you can understand why), however we made a point to go for dinner. Even with all the positive reviews, it was beyond what I could have hoped for! The hotel, grounds, and restaurant are pure magic. We received the warmest welcome upon our arrival, and had the opportunity to explore their garden with a glass of wine in hand. The food was fantastic and I hope to return soon for the full experience as a guest!
21/10/2025: We were there for dinner. The restaurant's setting was beautiful and the interior was romantic. We chose the three-course menu of the day: an interesting interpretation of southern French cuisine. The price, however, was high.

21/09/2024: Most unfriendly welcome from gruff manager who told us he was the proprietor. Never met a proprietor in the whole world who couldn’t have cared less no wonder only 12 persons in the restaurant. Wouldn’t let us eat outside because of weather even though we were happy to take risk.
Food really poor. Chablis was ok. Service unfriendly and unhelpful in that no attempt to speak Anglais..
We were here as a couple at end of June/early July and it was buzzy and food great. Maybe Autumn arrives very early in Menerbes 20th Sept.
15/09/2024: Wir kennen das Bistro le 5 seit 5 Jahren. Seitdem es einen neuen Besitzer hat (französische Kette?), ist es -mit Ausnahme der Einrichtung und des tollen Blicks- nicht mehr wieder zu erkennen. Die Qualität des Essens ist nur „okay“, für die Preise aber nicht akzeptabel. Ravioli Trüffel waren ungefüllte Nudeln mit viel zu viel Sahnesauce. Das feine, geschmacklich besondere, ist völlig abhanden gekommen. Der Salade César war ein „dahingeklatschtes Ensemble“. Gefragt, wie es uns geschmeckt hat, wurden wir nicht. Das Personal wirkt zusammengewürfelt und nicht der Location angemessen.
Außer zu einem Drink auf der Terrasse werden wir dort nicht mehr hingehen. Preis-Leistung für das Essen stimmt nicht.

10/05/2024: Excellent séjour de deux jours ( 8/10 mai 2024)
Les chambres sont parfaitement propres et très bien décorées , la suite familiale est top car deux chambres séparées par la salle de bains mais pour autant autonomes car possibilité de sortir par la terrasse ou la porte d’entrée.
La piscine est très agréable et bien entretenue.
Le restaurant était une vraie découverte gastronomique ! Magnifique ! Merci au chef
Tout le staff était adorable et à disposition
La dame de l’accueil est à l’écoute et réactive pour toutes les demandes .
Merci à l’équipe pour ce séjour
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir .

15/09/2024: Both when we visited in February '24 and September '24, the bakery was closed during the opening hours listed on Google. Either you keep Google up to date or you live with negative reviews.

21/08/2024: Trouver de la place pour 4 à 13h dans ce coin de la France au mois d’août sans réservation c’est compliqué … et pourtant, nous avons eu l’excellente surprise de tomber sur ce restaurant dans lequel il n’y avait personne au moment où nous sommes arrivés. Les pizzas étaient vraiment délicieuses et les salades avaient l’air tout autant appétissantes. En dessert un tiramisu caramel beurre/salé absolument divin. Nous avons de plus étés très bien reçus. Merci c’était une très belle expérience
