16/08/2024: Een heerlijke plek. In een rustig gelegen gedeelte. Net voorbij de Bovenstad. Super bediening maar vooral ook heerlijk gegeten. Mooi opgemaakte borden en heerlijk verse producten. Fijne smaken zonder ergens te overheersen. Een zeer goed aanbevolen wijn van La ferme Saint Pierre. Roi Faineant 2022 Heerlijke volle wijn. Genoten van deze avond!

18/09/2024: Place discovered during our stay in Vaison. A great place, great service and a boss like we would like to see more often. And the must, from Orval à la carte. For us who are Belgian and originally from near Orval, what more could we ask for! We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back on our next stays.

18/09/2024: Very disappointed, Viennese chocolate cold and small for the price. The waitress is a little clumsy in her comments. The toilet has no water because they shut off the valve due to a leak. And why are the toilets upstairs?? Prices in general are high. In short, I don't recommend it.

Today, rather than describing the sumptuous display of golden pastries, fine chocolates and ice creams with surprising flavors like blueberry or violet, let me tell you about a tiramisu that is as daring as it is refined. Imagine, first of all, a light mascarpone cream, soft as a caress, neither too sweet nor too strong. Each spoonful plunges into a fragrant cloud, subtly “punched” (I have always loved this culinary term ☺️) of a coffee syrup with deep aromas, flirting with the intoxicating notes of alcohol, without one or the The other never dominates, like a discreet whisper. It’s a delicate waltz between the voluptuousness of mascarpone and the measured intensity of coffee, in short: a perfect harmony. Then, on top, crunchy shards of lightly roasted pecans dance. 22/09/2024: We have been visiting Vaison-la-Romaine at least once a year since 2007. We eat at l'Oustal for just as long. We only have fond memories of what it used to be like. Unfortunately, that is a thing of the past. Carelessly served food and third-rate wine can now be found instead. The price-performance ratio has dropped very significantly. Very unfortunate. We have decided not to come back.

10/09/2024: We'll start with the positive. The waitress was super pleasant and the bartender too. Clean toilet, that's nothing to say. On the other hand the negative point, we suppose that it must have been the manager, lack of hygiene on his part in setting the tables, licking his fingers to put the placemats in place, not smiling for a penny, lack of professionalism, unpleasant to wish with customers. Tight like a thong. We think that in business the essential point is a smile and friendliness, this does not fall into these skills, he should think about changing jobs.....
