21/06/2026: On a quiet but very warm day in Vaison la Romaine this place was a real treat. Innovative, flavourful dishes from entree to dessert. And an air-conditioned interior with lots of room. It's certainly not the standard tourist version of provencal food but makes inspired dishes from local ingredients. Spend a little more and get a real treat.
20/06/2026: We were greeted by a discreet but very efficient waiter, and the meal, from appetizer to dessert, was delicious. Four Bretons who recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

13/06/2026: We ate at this restaurant during our visit to Vaison and we weren't disappointed. Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert, and everything is homemade. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waitress and her husband were very friendly and welcoming.
We highly recommend it and will definitely return on our next trip to the area.

22/04/2025: We had a wonderful meal at La Lyriste. The three-course menu was surprisingly delicious. Every dish was carefully prepared and very flavorful. The children's menu was also surprising; not the standard fries and chicken nuggets, but a smaller version of the menu that was also carefully considered. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely eat there again.

16/06/2026: I ate here with my mother recently and we highly recommend it! The fries are very good, as is the chicken burger. There's a friendly yet relaxed atmosphere, which I appreciate. Oh, and the staff are very helpful.

25/06/2026: An excellent restaurant with a small terrace , running water from a fountain makes for a soothing atmosphere. Small menu (but typical for area) well executed on the plate. We really enjoyed our evening here. The waitress was very friendly. My only negative was neighbours trying to smoke a packet of cigarettes between courses. C'est la France!

20/06/2026: We are regular and delighted customers of this place, which we especially love for its traditional ice cream.
One drawback, however, was on this particular evening, the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival).
We stopped by around 9 pm for ice cream.
The waiter curtly turned us away.
"It's not ice cream time, we're eating now."
In short, the evening rush doesn't excuse this disrespectful behavior. It's the customers who keep restaurants afloat.
We went to get our ice cream elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. It's a shame; we weren't the only disappointed customers waiting outside. Please check if the restaurant is open before making the trip.
06/01/2026: We went to this restaurant as a family with our daughters, aged 2.5 and 4.5, as well as our parents and friends.
The welcome was exceptional; the staff were incredibly kind, especially to our daughters, who were treated like princesses.
The setting is magnificent, and we have rarely eaten so well. Everything was excellent.
