08/09/2026: What a joy it is to return to L'Amphore every time. The owners are delightful, and their food is excellent. New flavors are always on offer each week, and the reaction is always the same with the first bite: eyes wide with wonder at how delicious and flavorful it is. From the appetizers to the desserts, including the bread and the little biscuits that accompany your coffee, everything is homemade, prepared with care and care. A real treat! We will definitely return, always with the same pleasure.

06/09/2026: Excellent place. The set menu is €37 and includes an amuse-bouche, starter, main course, cheese, and dessert! One of the few restaurants to offer a complete menu at a reasonable price. I'm not giving it 5 stars because the desserts weren't the highlight of the meal. The service was pleasant and incredibly fast. A great find!

21/08/2026: The location is beautiful. Two boys served us. One was on his phone a lot, the other spoke no French, didn't know the menu, and reeked of sweat. The food was downright bad. The "amuse-bouche" consisted of edamame beans with spring onions, without herbs or dressing. The main course, Thali (vegetarian), consisted of those same edamame beans, half a courgette, a bread roll, half a mozzarella (without seasonings other than thyme), and there was a small bowl of cold contents that tasted and had the same consistency as custard. When we asked what it was, we were told it was the chef's secret and that I had to guess what it was. After insisting, they said it was coconut-carrot soup. The other main course, magret de canard, was a good piece of meat, but again, it was not seasoned and the potatoes were just undercooked. This review is not to complain, but to warn others and to wake up the owner (and/or staff). Incidentally, I am surprised by the many very positive reviews, which are very generic and strike me as untruthful.

11/08/2026: Visited for an aperitif. Ordered a mixed platter. Beware of the rip-off: €14 for a salad, one slice of mortadella cut in half, two slices of rosette salami, two slices of bacon, two slices of chorizo, and the same for the cheese pieces (one piece of Camembert, one of Saint-Nectaire, one tiny slice of goat cheese, and three pieces of Cantal). And when I say "slices," they're practically see-through... And for this magnificent platter, a 20-minute wait that arrived well after the aperitifs had been ordered!!! On the plus side: the staff is pleasant!

09/08/2026: Lovely little brasserie. We were greeted warmly, and the waitress explained that she had three daily specials left, which she would reserve for us upon request. Despite the lunchtime rush, the children were served first. A good experience with friendly and welcoming staff in a tourist town.
