07/12/2025: A very pleasant restaurant. The staff are very friendly and smiling. We had a very good meal and the children loved the kind words from the owner. We will gladly return as soon as we are in the area.

25/09/2025: I went to make a reservation for lunch, a blonde lady who was setting the cutlery did not even respond to my request and, making a face, continued her work. Thank you, it was very good next to the tobacconist.

02/02/2026: We went there on a whim and without a reservation. We were seated immediately. The waiter was very welcoming. I chose a half pizza with ground beef and ham, accompanied by potatoes. My partner opted for a full pizza with cheese and potatoes (tartiflette). We loved our pizzas; the crust was thin, the portion size was just right, and the ingredients were delicious. Kudos to the chef who single-handedly manages the kitchen for both the restaurant and outside orders. We absolutely loved your pizzas. Chef, your wife told me you're retiring soon, so all the best to you both, and I hope the new team will be just as good. 👏👏 Best of luck! Louisa K.

21/11/2025: This is a fantastic ice cream shop (the best around). If you're on vacation here and want to enjoy some delicious ice cream, crepes, etc., this is the place. They have so many choices that you'll want to come back to try all sorts of things... there are tons of different flavors, it's really great! Plus, the service is wonderful, and they were incredibly kind and immediately offered to give our dogs water. A really lovely time with the family, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

31/10/2025: Friendly and professional staff, clean establishment, good food overall, but one major drawback: the galette wasn't homemade and was cold, a real shame for a crêperie. Disappointed.

13/10/2025: Very friendly restaurant, with pleasant and welcoming staff. The only slight hiccup: our order was forgotten. There were a lot of people there, so this can happen and it's not a big deal. On the other hand, it would have been appreciated if the waitress had acknowledged it rather than pretending that everything was fine. That said, the atmosphere was still pleasant and we still had a good time.

16/01/2026: I haven't left the restaurant yet, but I wanted to leave a review. I highly recommend this restaurant, which has delicious food and a very warm welcome. It's the best restaurant my husband and I ate at in Saint Jean de Monts. They deserve to be packed every day. Well done to the chef!

31/12/2025: Excellent meal with beautifully prepared and flavorful dishes. The price was very reasonable and the service impeccable. A wonderful evening for us! Reservations are essential for the evening of our visit.

30/10/2025: Fantastic! I come every holiday, four times a year. The Limoncello aperitif was delicious! The lemon crepe dessert was a real treat.

18/11/2025: Disappointed, I thought I'd celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary with a nice gourmet meal, but no; the service was adequate, the presentation of the dishes was beautiful, but it lacked that little something extra, and I have doubts about whether it was homemade. A good brasserie, really.

31/08/2024: Cette station balnéaire populaire tient une adresse qui fait le grand écart. Prix contenus, clientèle familiale, ambiance joyeuse et carte élastique. Sans concession sur la qualité, on s'en lèche les doigts! Réservation indispensable, la brasserie est réputée.

30/08/2024: Très bien accueilli, le restaurant est très agréable et les tables sont montées avec soin. Le repas que nous avons choisi était de très grande qualité et copieux. Ça fait une dizaine d'années que nous venons passer nos vacances en Vendée et nous profitons pour manger régulièrement au restaurant et "Chez Bastien" était notre 1ère fois et vraiment très contente d'y être allé et nous reviendrons l'année prochaine. Les serveurs étaient très agréables et à nos soins, et à défaut de beaucoup de restaurants "Chez Bastien" ils prennent les tickets restaurants sans maximum 👍.

20/09/2024: L'endroit est agréable, la cuisine y est délicieuse. Beaucoup de recherche tant par les goûts que par la présentation. Le filet de bœuf fond en bouche et la cuisson choisie respectée. Arrêtez -vous, vous ne serez pas déçu. Le sourire et l'accueil sont aussi très agréables. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

20/09/2024: Très bon repas dans cette maison traditionnelle Vendéenne où les produits locaux sont parfaitement mis en valeurs par le chef dans une ambiance très chaleureuse.
