Every time we pass through Saint-Jean-de-Monts, we like to stop at L'Espadon to enjoy their excellent seafood sauerkraut, which has been a favorite for years. But this time we were very disappointed: the fish was overcooked, the beurre blanc sauce was so-so, and the cabbage was bland. The quality of our meal was definitely down. The menu is always the same; perhaps you've changed chefs, and if so, the new chef lacks creativity. When will you introduce new desserts and signature dishes? Just so you know... we miss L'Espadon's dessert and canelés. The welcome and service were adequate, nothing more.

We came to the restaurant without a reservation and were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were very friendly and had a great sense of humor. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing.

We had wonderful nights there, nothing to complain about – comfortable beds and a warm welcome.
The breakfast was very generous and gourmet.
We also enjoyed the restaurant, which offered excellent cuisine.
