On vacation in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, we stopped at this creperie with its warm and friendly setting. Be careful, remember to book especially in high season! The staff is attentive, the cuisine is simple but of good quality, and the prices are correct for the place. We had a pleasant evening as a couple, I recommend this establishment 👍

We opened the door to this restaurant quite by chance. Well, what a very nice surprise! Succulent dishes: large salad, risotto, truffade: excellent! Quality and quality were there. A big congratulations to the chef! As for the welcome, nothing to complain about: warm, attentive,... a great evening. Thank you to this great team!!

Bar Restaurant Le Gouet

12/03/2024: Le Gouet is a place not to be missed. A sunny terrace, a simple and tasty menu, a dedicated and friendly team: everything comes together to have a good time. The restaurant is accessible to both skiers and pedestrians, which adds practicality to the experience. Finally, the prices are very reasonable for a restaurant on the slopes!

La Pause

28/03/2024: I'm writing a review in English because I think it will benefit tourists coming off the train at the station close by. If you're starving and just want a burger and a pint, this is the place to go. We were looking for that today and La Pause was just perfect for what we needed. It's a very typical alpine French bistro. Lovely atmosphere, obviously a popular place with the local people, and very welcoming. Excellent service from attentive staff, good food and a warm welcome. Highly recommended for a quick stop and a touch of real french hospitality. Also it's open when most restaurants have stopped serving food, so very convenient! The fries cooked in beef fat were particularly unhealthy and lovely 😍
