72 Bar sur Cannes

We really enjoyed it, even more than three years ago! We received a warm and friendly welcome... Very good. We like having a drink there, but we haven't tried eating there.

The best place to see all the people

Visiting Cannes for our wedding anniversary, we enjoyed the municipal beach and ate at 72 Croisette. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, simple but delicious food... a very pleasant romantic meal.

The food was good and well-presented, but the trap was when the waiter presented the dessert tray: €14.90 for a Paris-Brest – a bit disappointing for the price.

The initial welcome was a bit rough, but frankly, after a long day at work (Monaco F1 Grand Prix), I didn't mind. The waiter who came later was much friendlier and more cheerful. The music was good (we were inside), but with the house music from the restaurant next door, it quickly became a cacophony. I don't mind, though, as you can't choose your neighbors. As for the meal, the portions were generous and delicious. I loved the waiter's touch of bringing desserts on a tray to tempt us with an extra treat. The price is still a bit high, but the setting justifies it. Eating while people park their Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches right in front of your table—what more could you ask for? It was ok, but the service was not good.

La 72 Croisette was a great spot during our time in Cannes. The location is excellent, right by the beach and next to the Martinez hotel, making it perfect for relaxing and people watching. We visited twice during our trip. The first visit was for drinks, and the second time we also ordered food including pizza and fries, which were both very good. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but that’s expected given the location on the Croisette. Overall, a really enjoyable place to stop for drinks or a casual meal while visiting Cannes.
