Bambou Café sur Cannes

Very nice surprise. Just a small pizzeria at the corner but they offer more than that. We got salmon and tuna tartar which respect it wasn’t some fashion seafood place was outstanding.

There were five of us around a small, charming table, more suited to four—a detail that could have spoiled the evening, but which impeccable service quickly made us forget. Our waiter, in his fifties, seemed to have made our happiness his life's mission. Attentive without being intrusive, with an effortless charm that can't be learned. As for the food: the pizzas and salads were superb—fresh, generous, and without unnecessary frills. But the real test, the only one that truly matters, is the children's. And there, the verdict was unequivocal: they were delighted. Anyone who has ever tried to satisfy such demanding critics as children knows that it's far from a sure thing. Here, it was a resounding success. Final note: A simple lunch, but a success in every way—the welcome, the service, and above all, that genuine smile on the children's faces that speaks for itself.
