A Cantinetta sur Sartene

A truly wonderful moment of sharing! Taking the time to stop and chat with the manager was the highlight of our stay in Sartène. The wines and liqueurs are excellent, so stop by and take the time to discuss them and create a unique and lasting memory!

What a wonderful encounter with Marie Dominique, a truly lovely person with incredible kindness! If you're ever in Sartène, you absolutely must stop by! We were able to taste and buy some delicious wines. You'll be welcomed like family! Agnès and Christophe

Trebien e Madame, that's fantastic!

A small, authentic spot with only three tables inside, where we were welcomed like royalty by Marie-Dominique, who offered excellent products (charcuterie and cheeses) as well as very good local wines accompanied by fresh melon and delicious homemade fig jam, all while sharing the history of the winery. And to top it all off, a delicious homemade chestnut flour cake. We were absolutely delighted and will forever cherish our encounter with Marie-Dominique. We hope to return someday and will recommend this place without hesitation.

A step back in time... A family of winemakers, passed down from father and mother to daughter and son. This establishment has been open since 1920! Very intimate, filled with memories, paintings, and photos, they offer charcuterie, wines, and liqueurs at very reasonable prices because, as Mémène (Marie-Dominique) says, "when you're honest, you don't make a profit." I highly, highly recommend the "Clos Colonna" (you can't make this stuff up 🤣), at €14, which you'll find for €35-40 in all the surrounding restaurants.... We arrived on the evening of the final on Sunday without anything to drink (yes, I know... a crime!), and she offered us tons of charcuterie; we only paid for the alcohol. The old-fashioned Corsican generosity, which, it must be said, isn't really the norm anymore... We came back last night and she offered us some myrtle liqueur. We chatted again about the old days, hers and ours. We will never forget this petite woman with her incredible energy and kindness, who managed to restore our faith in the Corsican spirit. PS: Don't pay any attention to the negative reviews; at Mémène's, we're not there to "eat"...

We stopped to see if they had any citrus wine. What a treat to experience this wonderful moment of sharing during the tasting. A true taste of Corsica.
