A relaxed and peaceful atmosphere and meal, a warm welcome. A nice bonus: well-behaved dogs are welcome, which is great ;). Thank you for a lovely time.

A truly wonderful place! We stopped by this restaurant without a reservation and received a particularly warm welcome from a very attentive lady. The set menu was delicious (terrines, filet mignon, and mirabelle plum clafoutis). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the value for money was excellent. The dining room is very clean and beautifully decorated; it's a restaurant I highly recommend, just a few minutes from the church in Bellême.

While out for a stroll with friends, we had lunch at this establishment. The service was impeccable and friendly, and the food featured delicious local products. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in the area, which is very beautiful.

We stopped by on a whim, and it was a lucky find! A delight; we enjoyed every bite from start to finish. Lunch is served during the week. The warm welcome and the waitress's smile... if you're hesitating, don't be. Enjoy your meal!

A relaxing and delightful experience ✨ A leisurely meal where you can truly savor the moment. We came on a Sunday at lunchtime and enjoyed a set menu for just €38, which was quite generous (including a starter, palate cleanser, main course, cheese, and dessert). The dining room is beautifully decorated, with plenty of space between tables and a very cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area; everything is delicious 🌻

20/09/2026: We stumbled upon Café de la Paix by chance during a stay in the Perche region. And it was a very pleasant surprise. At Café de la Paix, there's no fuss! Instead, you feel right at home. A warm welcome and hearty, comforting homemade dishes. A special mention for their house-smoked salmon!

08/07/2026: A wonderful hotel. Received with great courtesy. Room spotless and beautifully furnished. Bed the most comfortable in France. Bathroom modern and bright. Elegant restaurant, with a fine menu served in style by smiling staff. Breakfast varied and excellent. Our Italian dog was petted by enthusiastic staff, and definitely wants to return. So do we
26/05/2026: This hotel is a full of charm and character the fireplace in the restaurant is amazing. The bar area is warm and inviting, with a great choice of beers, and the restaurant is absolutely outstanding. The food was exceptional fresh, full of flavour and clearly made with high-quality locally sourced ingredients, which really made a difference. Olliver is an exceptional host and genuinely makes the whole experience memorable. Friendly, welcoming and incredibly engaging. After dinner, he even joined us with a bottle of wine, which created such a relaxed and personal atmosphere and really summed up the hospitality of the hotel. His excellent English also makes everything effortless. Great value for money is superb, we will defiantly be staying there again next year choice without hesitation.
