We've dined at this restaurant several times and it's always a real pleasure! The food is truly excellent, the dishes are delicious and generous. The staff is extremely pleasant and welcoming, which makes each visit even more enjoyable. It's the kind of place you want to return to again and again. I love it!

Finding a simple restaurant in Bellême with two young children isn't easy, but at Café de la Paix it wasn't a problem. A very good meal, a warm and friendly welcome despite the late hour – a lovely time!

After searching extensively for a Valentine's Day dinner, finding only set menus at other restaurants that didn't appeal to us, we finally discovered this very tempting menu. So there we were that day at this little restaurant, greeted with a warm smile, just the kind we love and that's becoming increasingly rare (as former restaurateurs, we really appreciated it). The meal was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We'll definitely be back as soon as possible. Thank you again for this wonderful evening, and we hope to see you again very soon. Mr. and Mrs. Servant

We arrived late for lunch (almost 2 PM) and were still welcomed, which is quite rare at that hour. The salmon and fries were really good (there was hardly any wait) and the staff were welcoming and smiling. Special mention for the chocolate ice cream, which was a real treat! We'll definitely be back on our next visit; I highly recommend this restaurant!

26/05/2026: This hotel is a full of charm and character the fireplace in the restaurant is amazing. The bar area is warm and inviting, with a great choice of beers, and the restaurant is absolutely outstanding. The food was exceptional fresh, full of flavour and clearly made with high-quality locally sourced ingredients, which really made a difference. Olliver is an exceptional host and genuinely makes the whole experience memorable. Friendly, welcoming and incredibly engaging. After dinner, he even joined us with a bottle of wine, which created such a relaxed and personal atmosphere and really summed up the hospitality of the hotel. His excellent English also makes everything effortless. Great value for money is superb, we will defiantly be staying there again next year choice without hesitation.
