Excellent table service on the sunny terrace! Evening menu: Flammkuchen (Alsatian flatbread)!!! Amazing! And for lunch: steak tartare that was perfectly seasoned with homemade fries. I highly recommend it!

When in Barr do not forget to have a lunch or dinner here. Super kitchen, big portion. At a very fair price. I'm a repeat customer as from now.

The hotel was charming and comfortable, located right in the heart of a beautiful little town. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The restaurant was simply excellent, the food delicious, and the portions very generous! In short, we had a wonderful stay – thank you to the whole team, and we look forward to returning!

We regularly have lunch at Maison Rouge, and it's always a pleasure! The staff are attentive, smiling, and very friendly, and the dishes (whatever they may be, as we've tried everything on the menu) are always a delight!

06/04/2026: We had a couple of Tarte Flambée and they were ok. The crust is homemade which is very nice but for us it could have been a little more topping. The service was good and the ambience is typical Alsacien.
06/04/2026: The tarte flambée was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The only slight downside was the snide remarks and innuendos made by the waitress, even though the restaurant was half empty and we were very careful not to upset her. A shame.

02/05/2026: The food so nice, we had to eat there twice! The food was truly amazing. We decided to eat here two nights in a row because the menu was too enticing for just one night. Extremely nice and helpful staff.
