Lunch one day
Very long wait at the door while staff were busy doing nothing; we were invisible.
We had to wait again once we were seated.
Once we ordered, the service improved with a very energetic young woman, and we were served quickly.
The meal was decent.

Just a well-located brasserie in the heart of Obernai.
Unfortunately, the service was appalling. We had to ask for the menu after a 20-minute wait. We had to ask for drinks, which didn't arrive with the food, we had to ask twice for bread before being served, and we had to ask for the bill.
In short, we spent the entire evening asking!

While in Obernai for the Christmas market, and looking for a restaurant, my wife and I stumbled upon "La Cour de Mémé." The restaurant was full, and we had to wait for a table. The wait was well worth it, as the food was excellent. The restaurant offers simple Alsatian dishes. We ordered bibeleskäs with Munster cheese and potato pancakes with Munster cheese, all accompanied by a glass of Gigondas wine.
Both dishes were generous and delicious.
The service was pleasant.

Excellent restaurant. The atmosphere, food, and service were all very, very good. The owner greets you with a smile and does his best to find a table for those who haven't made a reservation.
I recommend this restaurant, but make a reservation in advance.

I was able to come to this restaurant with my sweetheart, and we were welcomed by Sébastien, who managed to find us a table despite the crowd, with a smile and good humor, as did the entire team who looked after us, including our waiter and the bartender! The decor is magnificent, and the food was simply divine—it was hard to choose, everything looked so tempting! And everything was delicious and very generous! I highly recommend it.

My wife and I came from Normandy to see the magnificent Alsatian Christmas markets (Colmar, Strasbourg, Obernai, etc.) and we stopped at La Cour de Mémé. Well, what can I say? This restaurant is very charming and has a soul. The servers are incredibly kind and helpful. Seb is a fantastic supervisor, and as for the food, mmm, a real delight! We'll be back very soon. Go there without hesitation and with an open stomach.
