Amazing food, all super fresh and perfectly prepared!!

Dinner Wednesday evening in Petrograd. Indeed, a very good location, but in my opinion, it's best to go on certain specific evenings. We arrived, and the waitress took 2-3 minutes to look up from her phone. We were able to sit wherever we wanted and then choose our dishes. Not being familiar with Russian cuisine, we were eager to try them, so I ordered a Russian salad, which turned out to be a mixed vegetable salad with, I think, store-bought mayonnaise. Then, my husband's borscht was good, but nothing special. The pirozhki were also good, but unfortunately, when I asked for the meat ones, they were out of stock, and they didn't have the spinach ones either. The pelmeni were quite good as a main course, but were they homemade? The beef stroganoff was also good, but served with kasha, which was bland. Yes, Russian cuisine is simple, I understand, but to offer such expensive dishes in a place that isn't particularly exceptional in itself and enjoys a bygone reputation? It's tough, and the prices are honestly inflated. We didn't have dessert because after the €21 "macedoine" and the beef at over €30, we were still fuming. It's a shame because it used to be a great place, but these days, in my opinion, it's resting on its laurels. I came hoping to introduce my husband to the cuisine of my ancestors, and I left disappointed.

During a weekend in Paris, my daughter wanted to eat pelmeni, so I found this Russian restaurant. She wasn't disappointed! The restaurant is very small but has a great atmosphere, with musicians playing Russian songs, which my daughter loved! The food was delicious and homemade! I highly recommend it.

A bit pricey. But that's the price of quality. The service is top-notch, in an atmosphere that transports you to Russia. And what can I say about the food... A real surprise and a delight.

What a disappointment! I tried this restaurant again because of its location opposite the Russian Cathedral, but the atmosphere remains soulless, the waiters are gloomy and unfriendly. One waitress was even unpleasant. The food was disappointing; several dishes listed on the menu were unavailable, and we chose a default option. For me, it was poorly drained ravioli swimming in water and completely tasteless, except for the saltiness. I pointed this out, and there was no response. The bill, however, was exorbitant for the quality and quantity. It's disrespectful. We'll try other Russian restaurants, happy to welcome customers and offer tasty dishes. Edit: Self-reflection doesn't seem to be your strong suit. So, I'll be more specific. The pelmeni were dripping with water and swimming in it. It wasn't even broth. Soggy and limp, they fell apart on the plate. Conversely, the stuffing was dry, dense, and very salty. Nothing like a recipe prepared by a professional chef and served in a restaurant. And frankly, I'm not usually picky. It's a shame and disappointing.

We celebrated a girls’ night at this restaurant and had such an amazing time from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by how extensive and authentic the menu was. As a Ukrainian, I can genuinely say the dishes tasted very authentic and comforting. It was also lovely to see that many of the staff spoke Ukrainian, which made the experience feel even more warm and welcoming. The servers were incredibly attentive throughout the evening and made sure we always had everything we needed. We ordered several appetizers, including the smoked salmon, blinis with caviar, pickled vegetable platter, and pirozhki — which were definitely my favorite. For the mains, we tried the pelmeni and the fish pie, both of which were excellent. I especially appreciated that there were plenty of pescatarian-friendly options for members of our group. The restaurant also serves its own champagne, which we really enjoyed, along with the cherry and cranberry vodkas that were such a fun addition to the evening. The highlight of the night was definitely the live band. They performed a mix of classic Soviet hits and French songs, took requests from guests, and brought so much energy and emotion to every performance. It truly made the entire experience feel special and unforgettable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try authentic Ukrainian cuisine in Paris or simply enjoy a lively, memorable evening with great food, drinks, and music.

Amazing restaurant in Paris! The food is delicious and the live music was so much fun, they’re very interactive and come by the tables through the night. We celebrated our friend’s engagement and it was the perfect location and we tried so many of the dishes which were all amazing and well presented.

Wow! Absolutely incredible! The service is excellent and the food is of exceptional quality; you can tell everything is handmade. The servers are friendly, and the music reminds me of my summers with my grandparents in Russia back in the day.
