Based on the good reviews, we spontaneously decided to stop here. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The waitresses were attentive, but unfortunately, they were typically French. We tried to communicate with a little French and English, but unfortunately, no one understood us, even though, to my knowledge, English is taught in French schools. A half-raw burger isn't to everyone's taste. The food was very cheap, but unfortunately, that's about it. It was very bland, and the fries weren't good either. We had expected more, especially since the restaurant was very busy.

We went for dinner as a family this weekend and were very happy. The food was delicious, the service efficient, and the back terrace provided welcome shade during this heatwave. I highly recommend this Estaminet, which truly reflects the values ​​of the North: simplicity and generosity!

29/03/2026: We got married on March 21st and benefited from the exceptional services of Fred and JP. Our wedding was a huge success, largely thanks to them, and we are eternally grateful. Everything was perfect, from the cocktail hour to the cake; the meal was excellent. In addition to being welcoming, attentive, and incredibly kind, their food and service are of amazing quality. As for the music, we were lucky enough to have Nicolas, who was more than perfect. He created an incredible atmosphere throughout the day and evening. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose them again with joy and happiness. 🥰 A thousand thanks again!

18/07/2026: The fries were delicious and flavorful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, serving the potato sticks quickly and efficiently. However, the "Hannibal" sauce had a flavor I'm not used to in other sauces; it was good, but not what I expected. Finally, the prices are reasonable. It's a shame you can't eat around the lake because of the private properties surrounding the restaurant and bordering the lake's edge. In short, I recommend this chip shop.
