We received a very warm welcome; the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented. We also had the opportunity to discover Corsican specialties, particularly with the tasting platter as a starter.

A Corsican menu for 20 euros, and even though the selection was limited, it was the first time we'd seen that in 11 days, plus a complimentary liqueur! We chose this restaurant because the lady was friendly and greeted us when we approached to look at the menu.

After wandering around town and searching on Google for a restaurant to try Corsican specialties, we stumbled upon La Scudella. What a delight! The food was excellent and the owners very friendly. The veal with olives was flavorful, and the veal chop with maquis herbs was incredibly tender and delicious. The desserts—especially the chestnut sponge cake, which wasn't too sweet and was perfect—and the appetizers were all excellent! We'll definitely be back; go without hesitation!

I went there twice. Everything was delicious. A beautiful piece of excellent meat. The linguine with langoustines was extraordinary. And the owner was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

19/08/2026: One of the very few kind and friendly waiters I've encountered in Corsica—a rarity! The food is average, with generous portions and affordable prices. Convenient for visiting the center of Corte. Recommended!
11/07/2026: We tried the Corsican menu twice and were absolutely delighted. A fair price and good portions. Extremely delicious. Lots of locals in the restaurant – always a good sign!

21/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at Bar de la Haute Ville in Corte! An authentic and charming place where you immediately feel at home. The sandwiches were **delicious and generous**, but what we appreciated most was the warm welcome and attentive service from the staff. The service was truly perfect, friendly, and always with a smile. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience in Corte. We will definitely be back! 🏴‍☠️
