This is a fabulous, authentic French bistro. The setting is welcoming, relaxed and comfortable. The service was really friendly. But the exceptional part was the food. We had Moules Frites and Flemish beef stew. Both were freshly made. Both tasted amazing. Then we had Creme Brule and Chocolate Fondante, both also freshly made. Again the taste was superb. This is a very highly recommended restaurant that will give you a fabulous taste of France.

An absolute gem of a restaurant. I visited on my first night in Lille after reading good reviews and wasn’t disappointed. I shared a herring and potato starter which was superb. My partner and I each had the mussels which were super fresh and tasty and came with the obligatory frites , very generous portions ! You also have to try the chocolate mousse which was heaven . The staff were super friendly and helpful , we were the first people in the restaurant (7:30pm) but were made to feel really welcome , it was pretty busy by the time we left at 9pm. I would really recommend this restaurant, absolutely lovely

A great find.
Fast, discreet, but efficient service.
Delicious mussels with Maroilles cheese, and the cream sauce was excellent too.
Homemade mayonnaise was perfect for the fries.

A traditional Lille restaurant where we recommend the set lunch menu, featuring mussels (including those with Maroilles cheese) and desserts with a modern twist, named after local specialties.
Our experience was mixed: one waiter was cold, unhelpful, and unprofessional (aged between 40 and 60), while another waiter provided excellent service, smiling and very kind (young). Another point we didn't understand: why not put up a "Full" sign on the door to avoid the constant stream of tourists asking if lunch was available... only to be told no!
