A wonderful welcome, a server who knew his products and, above all, offered excellent advice. Everything started off perfectly. The dishes were flawlessly executed. The scallops were cooked to perfection, the gluten-free Welsh rarebit was superb, and everything, right down to dessert, was perfect. A huge thank you. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

I probably ate the best veal kidneys of my life there. For those with sensitive stomachs, rest assured there are plenty of other things to eat; my wife ordered mussels and thoroughly enjoyed them. It's a place well worth a visit.

A very nice restaurant: the dishes were all flavorful and quite creative. We tried the Welsh and the "poisson du jour". Since there aren't many tables, the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. Very fair prices, too.

The food is very delicious. We ordered mussels and steak. Both are highly recommended. Desserts are very tasty. I went 2 times in 10 days. Very nice restaurant.

Nice restaurant about 10 minutes from Lille town centre. English and French spoken.I had snails to start which was nice. They were served in a pot which is different as I have usually had them in their shells. Main mussels in white wine also good and a beer to wash it down. Worth a visit.

This is a fabulous, authentic French bistro. The setting is welcoming, relaxed and comfortable. The service was really friendly. But the exceptional part was the food. We had Moules Frites and Flemish beef stew. Both were freshly made. Both tasted amazing. Then we had Creme Brule and Chocolate Fondante, both also freshly made. Again the taste was superb. This is a very highly recommended restaurant that will give you a fabulous taste of France.

Fantastic restaurant. A warm and genuine welcome, a slight wait more than compensated by generous glasses of wine, delicious dishes with a real treat on the menu! In short, go without hesitation!

15/02/2026: A bizarre experience this Saturday, February 14th. While not regulars, we frequented this charming restaurant in Old Lille. Nothing exceptional this Saturday about the main course we chose, a rather hearty waterzooi made with chicken breast, but it was lukewarm and indefinable. The dessert, a profiterole, but the choux pastry was straight from the freezer! What really ruined our meal was our terrible seating. It felt like we were in a very noisy TGV carriage with a constant flow of passengers (the staff, customers getting on and off). The waitress, however, was a good professional. The owner (the new manager) didn't really appreciate my comment comparing his restaurant to a canteen.

15/02/2026: Excellent place. We tried it during a weekend trip to Lille and we were very happy! A bonus for those who prefer non-alcoholic drinks: they have a good variety of non-alcoholic cocktails to try 👌
10/02/2026: A varied menu with vegetarian options. Reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. My only complaint is that my hanger steak, ordered rare, was served medium-rare. I'll be back to try the other dishes, which look good.
