The restaurant has changed owners, it still serves homemade dishes but more in the cafeteria style. No table service. We went there with colleagues for lunch. There were 2 meats, lasagna (very hearty and very good) and 3 side dishes (carrots, beans and rice). I have no idea of ​​the prices offered, we were offered the meal 😊 (not the restaurant eh!)

Simple, inexpensive and very good.

We were in Lyon for the RWC and had an airbnb for a night in Charpennes. We came to this restaurant because it had a 4.9 rating on Google, it really isn't a 4.9 restaurant. The restaurant is in an estate and, at lunchtime, seems to do most of its business serving local workers with take away meals. Lunch was a buffet with protein and vegetables. By the time we ordered there was only salmon left, with rice or potatoes, carrots and green beans. It was delicious - the salmon was cooked perfectly in a delicious sauce and didn't taste like it had been sitting around for too long. We sat out side under a gazebo with plastic garden furniture and drank carafes of average red wine, surrounded by high rise apartment block with a convenience store and shuttered shops around us. THIS IS NOT A TOURIST RESTAURANT. The men who ran it were delightful, service impeccable, food lovely and very reasonable, but think workers cafe rather than restaurant.
