Against The Grain sur Lyon

A cute little restaurant run by three enthusiastic and kind young women. This is my second time here, but each time it's been a real treat. Whether it's the lasagna, the bowls, the desserts, or the homemade juices, everything is amazing! I'll be back every time I'm in Lyon!

I ordered a birthday cake. I didn't really have an idea of ​​what I wanted, so I asked them what was possible. They were incredibly kind, really attentive to finding a recipe that suited me and adapting it to my needs; honestly, it was lovely. The cake was beautiful, delicious, and generous. I'm so glad I discovered this place. I'll definitely be ordering again and will come and eat there in one day, that's for sure! THANK YOU!!

Excellent meal, from appetizer to dessert. It's rare to find such a wide selection of vegan desserts. I highly recommend it!

Excellent vegan options in a predominantly carnivorous city. Tasty and balanced single dish at a fair price. Also appreciated for its busy atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, as it's a conveniently intimate place.

I understand that everyone has their own opinions, but displaying pro-Palestinian views in a vegetarian restaurant isn't necessarily the place. Or rather, it should be clearly stated in the restaurant's concept: yesterday it made some tourists uncomfortable, who felt embarrassed, paid for a meal they didn't eat (and which they were allowed to pay for without any qualms), and felt compelled to leave. That's not my idea of ​​a welcoming place or of French social cohesion.

The pastries are excellent and high quality. We recently ordered a frangipane and a tiramisu. We thoroughly enjoyed them. The service was also very welcoming 😊

I regularly go to this restaurant because everything is always delicious and I've never been disappointed or disgusted by what I've eaten there. The dishes are flavorful, the service is very pleasant and friendly, and the pastries are incredible. I'm always pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It's undoubtedly one of my favorite restaurants, regardless of my dietary needs. Kudos to the team, you're exceptional, and long live Against the Grain!
