Against The Grain sur Lyon

I got the tofu wrap and it was the perfect lunch for a hot summer day. My French isn’t great but the woman working was beyond helpful and patient with me. This was the first place I ordered food from in person since being in France and it was a very pleasant experience. I love the variety of options here, I’ll definitely be returning.

Today, a day off for me, I had lunch at Against the Grain and, as always, it was a truly comforting experience. The dishes are prepared with fresh, flavorful, and high-quality ingredients, all accompanied by the usual impeccable service. What a joy to be able to choose your meal in complete peace of mind, without having to decipher every line of the menu only to end up, by default, with the infamous plate of fries... A huge thank you to Alison and her entire team for their warm welcome, the welcoming atmosphere of the place, and, above all, for all these delicious meals that are as good for the body as they are for the soul. Special mention for the cinnamon roll: it's my guilty pleasure, along with the lemon meringue pie 😋 If you're looking for a place to recharge, fill up on good vibes and vitamins, go for it… you won't be disappointed!

My favorite restaurant 💜 I love their cakes, like tiramisu, tropezienne, fraisier... the menu changes regularly and the atmosphere is really great, plus it's not very expensive. A must-try!!!

A cute little restaurant run by three enthusiastic and kind young women. This is my second time here, but each time it's been a real treat. Whether it's the lasagna, the bowls, the desserts, or the homemade juices, everything is amazing! I'll be back every time I'm in Lyon!

I ordered a birthday cake. I didn't really have an idea of ​​what I wanted, so I asked them what was possible. They were incredibly kind, really attentive to finding a recipe that suited me and adapting it to my needs; honestly, it was lovely. The cake was beautiful, delicious, and generous. I'm so glad I discovered this place. I'll definitely be ordering again and will come and eat there in one day, that's for sure! THANK YOU!!

Excellent meal, from appetizer to dessert. It's rare to find such a wide selection of vegan desserts. I highly recommend it!
