Great pub, even if they've never bought me a drink, no big deal, there's happy hour. Friendly staff. The problem is that some customers take up more space than necessary, like a table for four for two people. There needs to be a bit more discipline from both the customers and the bar staff; everyone would benefit.

Always a pleasant welcome, simple but good food! A place for relaxation, preferably at lunchtime, because you mustn't forget that it's a pub.

Le Chalet Savoyard de L'Esplanade

28/03/2026: A friendly welcome with a beautiful view of Bourgoin. The setting is lovely, and the tartiflette and Swiss fondue were really good. We'll be back! 👍
28/03/2026: A very good experience at Le Chalet de l’Esplanade restaurant. I had a raclette and Beaufort cheese burger, and my boyfriend had a wild garlic matouille: the dishes were generous and delicious. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the cooking is hearty. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, I highly recommend it!
