Ambrosia, an old institution in Tarbes, but which cannot recover the star lost a long time ago. The setting is always cold, soulless and the decoration from another era. The food is good but it lacks that little something extra to make it special. Disappointment for me.

We took the tasting menu and enjoyed fine and tasty refined cuisine and great products (foie gras, lobster, etc.). Everything was perfect. A beautiful wine list at all prices. The house is relaxing and comfortable as well as the very friendly welcome from the owner. We loved it, it's one of the best gastronomic restaurants in Tarbes. We will come back very soon

Really very good. This was our first visit but we will be back. The cuisine is excellent and the presentation careful. We had a great time, don't hesitate!

Very nice discovery for a very pleasant dinner on the terrace around succulent and refined dishes, from appetizers to desserts, everything was perfect!!!! Very friendly service, with the arrival of the chef, who came to chat with us, making this place a very good address!!!

08/09/2024: Meilleures glaces maison de notre vie …. Après avoir voyagé un peu partout dans le monde, c’est avec surprise que les glaces de ce traiteur pendant notre séjour dans les Pyrénées ce sont révélées excellentes , pleines de goûts, super texture !
03/09/2024: A must-see address on rue Maréchal Foch in Tarbes. Every year, we come to get a cake for my son's birthday. Once again we were not disappointed. Very nice shop, large selection of pastries, mini pastries, chocolates or pastries. A catering and sandwich section also available. Possibility of eating on site or to take away. We had the pleasure of being served by Xavier Berger, a very smiling welcome. In the time of waiting about ten minutes, we had the pleasure of having a coffee (with small chocolates) and a grenadine offered. Delicate attention that my son and I greatly appreciated 😊

30/08/2024: It is a nice place, with very polite staff. The food is good, but everything is very fatty. I had the duck confit with the potatoes. The potatoes were all buttery with bacon ,i would prefer a lighter side dish to the already fatty duck. I mean , the food is tasty but the combinations should be reconsidered.
